The flywheel may have come loose or the Woodruff key may have broken. The woodruff Key is 3x3.7x9.7 in size if you need a new one. The Beta part number is 12.46000 but you can buy a replacement from most bike shops.

I think the guy nicked the bike and then seized the 2 stroke engine because he didn't put any oil in it then tried to fix up what he had left. But then again he could just be a idot.

I remove the muffler and loosen the centre section to reove the air box. I am sure some smart a*** will come back with a way to remove it through the air filter opening.
