Ok so as per my last post my 2002 sy 250. Has some strange habits. It runaway revs as it's running out of gas. Which is a problem as it seems to use more than double what my riding companions use. I carry 2 L extra and still have to go home early and there all on there first tank! I have replaced the needle and needle jet, full carb clean checked float height, stock needle on the top notch. and it doesn't seem to be leaking any gas. It doesn't seem to run as smooth as other bikes but I hear that is typical of these motors. Any suggestions?

Hi guys ... My newest scorpa , the sy 250 F four banger ..is a ripper ,, but the "flat spot" off idle is driving me bonkers (huge thanks to Paul at the hell team in OZ for all your help and info ) and I guess that with such a forum of smart people here I should throw it out to the room .. What have you done to reduce the flat spot /hessitation just after idle on this bike ....? or do I just learn to live with it ...... or find a breaking late model wrf and steal the efi out of it ..... any ideas ?? (apart from selling it )

Hi Ya'll, I have a 2008 Scorpa sy250r and I have killed my rear shock. My apologies if this topic is duplicated howeverI cant find the first one I wrote. My rear shock basically grenaded and is totally unusable. The shock shaft came off the piston while I was riding and then under compression hit the side of the piston turning it sideways in the shock body bending the shock shaft and damaging both the piston and shock body. basically the only useable parts are the spring and mounting hardware. Does anyone on here know where to find a used shock? I have checked with scorpa and these shocks are way out of my price range, and an Ohlins equivalent is astronomical in price(lik…

Hello All, I bought myself a 125f to get back into things after a 5 year break from trials. Its a nice little bike, high revs everywhere but will do anything im prepared to look at for the minute. My question is - has anyone fitted the 175 big bore kit and how much of a difference does it make ?, Is it difficult to fit ?, not sure if I should give this a try or just go straight into buying another 4rt. Mabey im kidding myself and the small bore 4 pumper at 125 is all i'll need !, im 45 now and not as brave as I was 20 years ago ! ive go a bolt on longride seat with it and this is a great bonus as its also effective and capable on a short distance green lane burst ! …

Guys- removed rhs engine cover and there's a large (14mm) bolt in front of the water pump seal. I've tried to remove it (carefully with a piece of alu bar between the cogs on the water pump gear and the clutch cogs. Assume this is an anti clockwise thread and I just have to give it a bit more muscle? Cheers for any comments

I just picked up a '12 SR280. I promptly took the air filter out for cleaning and ran into a few problems down stream. I am now assembling the airbox and filter but don't know the proper alignment of the filter holding insert or clip position. Should the insert have the bigger clip lip on the front side or the back? How the heck does the large holding clip mount back in? I remember the open end going into the small recesses on the sides of the airbox but nothing seems to come close which ever way I try. I tried to look up the parts manual on the scorpa fr. website but they changed everything to the 2015 model launch. Thanks, Scott
