Just had an email. No reason given. "The rider finishes his successful stage in GasGas with the accomplishment of several championships such as the Trial of the Nations Outdoor in 2018, the X-Trial des Nations 2019 and the victory in the Hungarian and Japanese GP in 2018. In addition, the bronze medals at the X-Trial and the Spanish Trial Championship of 2018. The GasGas family congratulates Jaime for his achievements and wishes him good luck and success for his professional future. "

After two rounds, not only has Tony Bou won, he's won in convincing fashion. Looking at the scores, no-one's been even close. Outside of injury, is Bou going to run away with this year's title? Can Tony Bou be stopped?

  12. Sorry If this has been covered, i've been away from trials for a while doing enduro, so this is new news to me. Anyone think Doug can nail another podium 1st on the Beta ...... or has he spent to long on the 4rt to pick up a 2t and ride it as well as he did ? If Bou's anything to go by then the 4rt seemed to bring him on ! ........................ Hope Doug finds his his 100th on the Beta, good luck for 2008 to the Lampkin clan.

Burnicle you are an idiot, I am fed up of him whinging about Bou getting away with 5s. He said it was a 5 and in Geneva and now tonight....watch the action rather than eyeing up who is in the background and maybe you will see it correct. Learn the rules too ! Sorry rant over, can we get someone better next year ?

  14. I was interested to read in the Hawkstone programme the British riders responses to the question, "Can Toni Bou emulate Doug & Jordi Tarres, record of 7 world titles?" The response was a pretty unanimous yes. You have to say the world top 10 is a pretty stagnant place with only Bou making a significant move up and Dibs also making some progress. Everyone else is pretty much shuffling down in order to make space for these two. It's hard to see anyone currently riding in the full WTC being able to beat a fit Toni Bou over a whole season, and sadly I belive that includes James Dabill (please prove me wrong Dibs ). Dani Oliveras dominated the youth & junior chanpio…

  16. Started by neils on wheels,

I was watching the TrialGP video on Casales' bike and noticed a Dunlop sticker. It would appear the factory team are riding on Dunlops this year, which is a turn up for the books. Michelin must have had a monopoly in the world championships for a decade or more.

Jorge Casales signed for Beta for 2015 season. Beta obviously doing something right. Lose Dibs and replace with the only genuine young threat to Toni Bous supremacy. Where does this leave Gas Gas?? Where will Raga go IF anything happens at GG that threaten WTC / X trial? Hope Casales does well, been looking immense over the last season

  18. Started by city trials,

I just got this old computer up and running again, this is the computer I took to Duluth. This is the computer I wrote a world round story on for Cycle USA. This story never ran, nor did any other story about this World Class event in Cycle USA. The organizer made a point to let me know he had a hand in not having this story run in Cycle USA. It's a shame, I thought it wasn't bad. Not one word has been changed. FugiGas loves America FIM Observed Trials World Round June 5th and 6th Duluth, MN. by Craig Gernhardt How did this happen? As detailed here Time limit cut to one minute per section (from 1.5 minutes) No walking the sections on the day Top riders no longer last to ride. Bou will be first man away in Spain I have my own thoughts on these, but what do others think?

With that huge obstacles, seems like Raga, Bou e cia will be wearing some chest protection in 2017. Personally (after 40 years old, my ribs aren't so flex anymore), I like to use (Fox titan sport subframe) but at 35-40ºC it's not possible big part of the year. for sure, some fuss to come.
