Hi all, Over the last few years I've been doing the scoring for our little club. It's basically a mammoth spreadsheet, a credit to the author, but if stuff breaks it's very locked down and I can't fix it, or even attempt to fix it. I'm interested in what other clubs use for computer based scoring, are there templates or pre-built customisable databases available for download anywhere? I was considering doing my own but thought I'd be reinventing the wheel so I'd ask around first. Thanks

Hi - I am looking to remove the headlight off my ‘21 Repsol 4RT and replace with a number board. It’s been suggested to me that the terminal block under the tank that takes the wiring from the headlight can just be unplugged, however this block has more than just the headlight wires going in to it. Can anyone help guide me in the right direction, please? Thanks.

Someone know when observed trials started. I guess shortly after WW2. I believe trials in a form of reliability test started early in the 19 hundreds, but observed trials in a form we would recognize as trials today🤔when did this happen🧐

Dissembled clutch on 1985 beta Tr32 and no thrust bearing is present. Just a couple of plain washers. Clutch wasn’t great but still slightly worked. Why is this and what further damage will it have caused?

My son was riding my '05 Beta Rev 3 and he said it just died when he was going slow after an hour long ride in the hills, then the kick start was totally frozen. I initially thought he scorched the piston but it seems fine. Then I thought the kick starter gear might be jammed but that's not it either. No shimmer in the oil and it had plenty of coolant so I don't think it overheated. The + wire connection to the fan was a bit loose so it might have not been running but I assume it would have caused a seized piston if that was the culprit. I can move the piston without the jug installed by hand turning the rear wheel with it in 5th but it's pretty tough and I feel like it s…

Hello all First post and it's gonna be a simple question, hopefully with a cheap answer. Both my forks have huge chunks chewed out of the chrome. I've splashed on 2 new stanchions, but before I take them apart I want to be ready to put them back together. Trialling season is rolling on.. Never been inside forks before, should be able to manage tho with all the info out there. Just need to know what weight oil ( a svelte 12stone on an Ossa 280i), and what parts should be replaced. Keen on giving them a proper service while I'm in the guts of them. Thanks in advance for the abundant knowledge I hope will be thrown my direction.. 🙂 As a footnote, h…

Analysis paralysis.. I've read so much the past few weeks, my mind is numb. Does anyone have real world experience with gasgas trials bikes, as in owning multiple model years and especially the current generation bike? I've read they are the most reliable tank of a bike, I've read they're build quality is garbage, and everything in between.. I am brand new to the community. I am currently making the switch from 450/350 4s and 300 2s mx/enduro bikes. I see a handful of 2020+ txt 300s (super low hours, all under 15) for sale somewhat locally and I am really considering one of them. I like their look and the fact they are supported by ktm nowadays. However, some th…

Good day all! New to the page and new to trials. I have kept up with it and watched, along with many forms of two wheeled racing, since I was about 10, as I am a total motorcycle enthusiasts! However I know nothing about bike selection, settings, what to look for, certain techniques, etc. So, I'm looking for some helpful direction. Some of my background: 32, 210lb, 6'3", have ridden offroad (US gncc/enduro) and motocross for 23 years. I have owned and ridden 250 and 300cc two strokes, as well as 450s and now a 350cc four stroke. I am by no means a pro or A level, but I am confident and competent enough to handle all obstacles (in my way 🎵) locally and get my money b…

My 13 year old son has started learning to ride a motorbike, and is cutting his reeth on a sy250 scorpa which is on long term loan from a friend. It's a little big for him, but has been fine to get the basics. I'd intended to move him onto a 125cc which might be a little lighter and easier to manage, but a couple of friends have suggested he stick with the 250. What's the consensous on the best route to build his skills and confidence? Is there any advantage of moving him to a 125 or should he stick with the older 250?

Some such as Colley, Lampkin, Jarvis etc are fairly obvious and maybe even Phil Disney, Woody Hole, Rob Sartin and Dan Hemingway. Going to throw a few names in here and see what response we get. Ian Needham Luke Wood Wayne Holdsworth Andy Huddleston Lee Sargent Gareth Thomas Chris Hannant David Lloyd Darren Snell Colin Crease Phillip Frizzell Lee Comelio Mike Roberts Adam Norris Russel Brass Any help would be great. No doubt a few names may even present on this forum.

I got both trial bikes out today as the panther needed a good clean after being stuck in a bog on the last trial a few times. There is a few years between these bikes and the Montesa will be a bit different to throw around. I think the Panther weighs twice as much as the cota
