Been through all the old trials transport forums, but didn't spot anything on getting two bikes inside an Espace, Grand or otherwise. Seems you can get a couple into a Galaxy/Sharan/Alhambra but maybe only after compressing the forks, so wondered if anyone had any luck with the Renault.

When we went to our last fun ride up at charltons our tyre popped just before we got there. We realised that because fo the way the bikes are places on the trailor ( 2 pointing forwards, one pointing back in the middle) the gear leaver of the left hand bike was catching on the tyre and guess what..tyre popped on the way back aswell!

I have a DC lightweight trailer, but slightly concerned at the sharp angle iron bits where the tyres sit, especially when compressed with tie downs. Has anyone modified theirs to help with this? Im thinking either fill gaps with ply, or chop up and old tyre to cover the sharp bits? Any hot tips for tie downs too? Other than the usual round the bars/clamps and foot pegs? Might try a ‘tyre down’ for the rear tyre.

I am picking my car up on Thursday and have a bike rack, I got with the bike. The rack is one that bolts on and I am NOW told that the SEAT LEON 2010 does not have a 'bolt on' type tow bar available. The only one available I have been told is a 'Brink 4466', Swan neck bar. It's a company car and work were going to pay for the tow bar, however the only one that will fit is uselsss for the only thing I will use it for if I can not find a rack, I would have preferred to use the exisiting one to save pennies (want to use it for a mountain bike rack too - not purchased yet) Does any one know of a SEAT Leon 2010 with a bolt on tow bar that can help? or does any one know of …

Ok so I know I have posted about this before as I have had problems with my rack rusting. Well today I contacted them. I explained that the rack is only 4 months old and has rust all over it. It frankly look really bad on the back of my car. The rack was purchased from Autowbars and they were great in the delivery and purchase. The racks are advertised "built to last" zinc plated. However, when I rang them this morning they told me they always rust and the zinc plating doesn't help! But what really pushes my button is their recommendation is to spray it with WD40 every week! What a con! Just goes to show dont take everything a manufacturer says as gospel. I now have to…
