Hi all Hoped I wouldn't have to make this post but here we go anyway.. My hardrock hydro was stolen from Gloucester road in Bristol on Saturday 1st November about 13:40 (From outside the sood chemist near zetland road). I went in the shop for 30 seconds and someone rode off on it. It was standard specialized hardrock grey. I am waiting on details from specialized of the serial number. The underside of the seat was slightly freyed from a crash It had two different valves on the front and back as I had to replace the innertube after a puncture. There were two slight 5mm scored on the adjuster for front and back brakes so I could line them up. Cheers Nick

As some of you may be aware through the great press coverage here in Northern Ireland some lowlifes broke into the garage at the Turkingtons home late Saturday night early hours of Sunday morning below are the details of the bikes stolen. as you can see some are fairly unique and should stand out hopefully by making as many people aware of the theft as possible it will make it extremely difficult for the theives to move the bikes on and maybe help in getting them back Early hours of Sunday morning we had 7 bikes stolen from our bike shed: 2008 125 Gas Gas (my bike) for those who have seen it will know its very disitinctive-black wheels, Gas Gas UK team sticker kit, ca…

This might seem like a thick question, I'm looking to upgrade my trusty old Gas Gas and have seen some quite reasonable bikes for sale privately but dont want to spend all my hard earned cash on a bike and find it is stolen, so any ideas on how I can check apart from the obvious like - Check the engine numbers against any paper work the owner may have, ask question on how long they have had it or just walk away if they have no documentation of proof of sale. Would the importer of the model be able to tell me if it was stolen if I was to ring them with the Engine and frame number.

Hi all As of 12pm sunday, me and my brother lost our race and trials bikes. Four bikes in total were stolen and 2 cars (one brand new for my mums 60th birthday) very badly damaged. However due to what i can say is very good work by the local police authority we now have our bikes back, although now in a very different location. Seems the scum (i would use harsher language but I know minors read the forum) rang up about a motocross bike for sale advertised in papers and said they would come around. However rang back hour later saying they had broke down on M5. Sounded fishy so we moved both our cars in awkward positions to the garage so no bike could pass. At 12pm they …

Not been on here for a while and decided to check out the stolen bike thread, as I thought that trials bikes wouldn't be stolen as often as the MX and enduro bikes...but I'm wrong! It seems that the police seem to getting a real bad press on here too as regards their reaction to a stolen bike....I have been there too when I had my enduro bike stolen. Some of the conversations I had with the police after I found out whom stole my bike, where it was being kept, were so laughable, to the point of being just unbelieveable.... " I have just seen my stolen bike"... "ooh, right thank you sir, we will get someone there this afternoon, goodbye sir" "ermm...don't you want to …
