Hello gentleman, I am new to trials bikes as my son races woods on a KTM. He decided to get a trials bike for cross training for Endurocross. The bikes seem simple enough, I have read every post in this forum while working on an 05 TXT Pro (The clutch is much better now). Enough intro. Since we got it the rear brakes quit working. So last night I rebuilt the rear master cylinder. I bleed brakes, back bleed brakes, vaccum siphon, and bleed brakes again for three hours, nothing happens. It won't pull or push fluid. Hi, Last week i bought a brand new 06 300. Got it home, first thing i did was check that it started! it did so.. ok. Took the lighting loom off it, put a new kill button on it and went out the next day to run it in, it was fine all day, started first kick, ran perfect. Since then, something has gone wrong. I cleaned it all up, did the usual Gas Gas mods like silicon everything up etc. went to start it yesterday, the engine was just turning. took the plug out and checked for a spark... nothing! took the flywheel off, checked the airgap between the flywheel and the pick-up and its spot on. Woodruff key is ok. Flywheel is clean and dry. put it back on correctly, still no…

Im thinking about selling my 2006 Beta and getting a 2007 gasgas 250, however the only thing that puts me off them is countless people telling me that they fall to bits!! is this true? if so, what goes wrong with them? they look schweeeet. Tom

If I was in the market for a secondhand Gasgas somewhere between 2003 an 2012, which would be the significant model year changes I should look out for? Times when they actually introduced something new and (hopefully) better, rather than just some new graphics and a bit of bling.

Hi guys I have a strange problem with my 2012 Gas Gas TXT 280. The first time I engage first gear after starting / warming the bike up the clutch engages immediately sending the bike lurching forward. No matter what I do with the clutch lever it stays engaged for say 10 - 15 seconds then it will start working and the clutch disengages drive. Obviously its a bit of a nightmare as not being able to stop is a bit sketchy! After the first time the clutch is faultless for the rest of the ride. I was just looking at youtube videos of gassers and found a german/austrian? company (BLM Motorraden) that have taken a 2010 TXT 250 Pro and put an electric engine in it, I think this is guaranteed to make you smile. wonder how many minutes you would get out of the power pack?? cheers, kevo

Planning a new bike soon, and a change from Sherco so getting myself a new Gas Gas, will be a 125. Hopefully there will be some Txt Racing's left in the uk, but if not it will have to be the standard Txt edition... Just waiting for Nige @ Tuk to get back to me and i'll know The Racing, what are the differences between this and the standard edition? Does the standard come with the keihin carb, or for that matter, does the racing? I know the 300 does, but not sure about 125. Anything to do when I get it? Anything that should I keep an eye on whilst riding, upkeeping? Anything I'll find completely different to the Sherco, riding posistion/style ect... Any known p…

soo i was out riding 2day and after washing my bike off iv noticed that theres hole in my silencer.. noooo not the one thats surposed to be there. looks like my rear tyre has rubbed through it:( how can i fix this without buyin a new can?? and also where can i buy new silencers if i need one.. cant find them anywhere in the uk. bikes a 2002 gaser txt 280 if thats any help.. thanks

Hi Guys. I've got a Gas gas 2008 300 TXT PRO. Want to add the flywheel weight. Have the part and tools but no instructions. Please be basic so i can follow. IE. How do you remove the flywheel and refit. Any torque settings or markings to follow. Cheers

New to Trials and seen a 2006 txt280 pro at a good price and in good condition so the bike is perfect in that way but I've seen a few threads that say this bike is too much for a beginner? I'll be learning the basics at pay and play sites, I've also seen post suggesting they can be calmed down for a newbie. I'm not new to bikes but starting from scratch with trials so would I be best off avoiding this bike ? I really do like it so please tell me I'll get used to it ?

I was having problems starting me 2001 280 recently and so serviced the carb. It was a little dirtly and had a little water in the bowl but otherwise was OK. The bike now starts but runs badly. It pinking, hunting and not ticking over very well. I think its running too rich/lean and have tried adjusting to no avail. How many turns out should the mixture be set of normal UK riding?

FYI: I'm new to 2-stroke bikes, so I'm just learning the in's and out's of the motors and such. So I do have quite a few questions. Just over a month ago I bought a barely used 2004 TXT Pro 300 (not even a single scuff on the bodywork). Anyway, yesterday I was in 6th gear going up a dirt road (gently sloped upward) and after about 1 mile of this the bike died. It basically sputtered and quit. Exhaust smelled a bit funky. Kicked it a few times, nothing. Waited 5 minutes and it fired right up. Hi Guys I need a little bit of help I have just decided to get into trials after riding a few of my friends trials bikes most have been Gassers I started looking for a new bike I found a really good deal here in Canada for a brand new 07 Raga I haven't rode one and I am wondering is this to much bike for a beginner any help will be greatly appreciated P.S I have rode an 06 300 Pro and it was a great bike the nicest I have ever rode

Having some issues trying to remove the old wheel bearing out of the rear when on a 2002 gasgas 200cc they have a spacer tube between the bearings so I can't in behind the bearings to drive them out. Any help much appreciated. Thanks

Hey all, I've had a similar issue with the bike blubbering on downhills on my Beta with a Keihin PW28 and now I'm having it on my 125 TXT Pro. I've stripped and cleaned the carb, made sure the jetting is correct for my riding locations and also adjusted the air mixture screw to around 2.5 turns out and I've got the floats level with the casting at around 18 mm when held at 45 degrees. Raising the idle seems to help and I've veried the RPM on the Hardline Tacho which is reading around 1,400-1,500 RPM (bike in neutral/flat surface) to stop it from blubbering on downhills... is this normal? Hi Guys, I was checking the web for a good rucksack for long trials riding but im finding it difficult to find a good one! anyone got any good suggestions, something thats low cut so the helmet doesnt catch it at the back. im carrying two 1l primus cans atm but need a bit more space for the sandwiches!!! hello guys i need addvice. i did ask this a wile back and i was told it was normal anyway ive noticed if i pull the front brake leaver when the the front wheel is off the ground it stopps the wheel ok but theres movment back. and forth i didnt notices but when ive had a good look its the disc that moves is this normal????

Hi all Had my 17 for a few months really love the bike, just wondering if anyone has had any experience keeping the airbox clean. I don't ride in particularly rough or wet conditions.but every time I change the filter I have to take the airbox off and clean out all the mud / water it's a pain in the a*** ! Thanks.
