Hi all yes it's Nubsey again. Well we got the engine started, but my this thing smoke 200 hundred a day. I have have my assistant run the engine for a while, but it sticks out smoke like they have just elected a new pope.. \please see my you tube video. A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS. Sorry for caps lock. Any way as Max Bygraves would say. "Let me tell you a story". Bought the bike a gas gas 125 txt 2000 with the clutch side of the crankcase stripped down. He said it was to change a oilseal as it was bogging. Put bike back together with a new clutch etc. Finally got bike to start and smoke everywhere. No Bogging. I.E. revs up ok.…

Does anyone know if this fork 'issue' has been resolved between Gas Gas and Marzocchi? and will the new 2009 bikes be shipping with the Alloy Marzocchi's?? What is/was the problem? Have heard that any 2008 bikes shipping now come with heavier Sachs forks. Is this another financial row?

Hi, I have a Gas Gas TXT 02 edition 250 and i could do with some help working out why the fan won't run. Have not had an issue with it before but today i noticed after 10 mins riding some coolant was coming from the overpressure drain pipe and the fan wasn't running. I stopped it straight away. I have connected a 12v battery to the fan connector and the fan runs fine. I have checked the temp sensor/tstat with a meter and it is open circuit when the bike is cold and is closed circuit when the bike gets hot. have cleaned up the spade connectors and checked where possible and the wires seem to bell out ok. The item i cannot test is the small square electrical unit screwe…

I have a 2013 250 TXT Pro with the Dell'Orto carburator. First I was surprised to learn that the mixture screw is actually a fuel screw and not an Air Screw. Now, concerning fine tuning of the fuel screw, what's the standard range of turns? Jim Snell had a video for adjusting the screw but I can't find it anymore. Any other guides / recommendations for doing that? Thanks. DC

Hi all, i have always had betas since 1998, basically im thinking of a change this year, i quite fancy a gasser but have always been of the opinion that they are a pile of ***** in the sense that if you buy one you nearly need to have as many spares for it. With the beta its virtually maintenance free but i feel its now becoming rather heavy and outdated compared to the like of the gassers, let me know what you all think cheers!

I actually managed to have a proper go on the bike at the weekend. Quite a hot day. How quickly would onenormally expect the fan to come on. Some water out of the overflow but i had topped up. No sign if fan. Rode in 5 min bursts. Is it time to read the above fan post? Lol
