Anyone ridden a 2019? Contents in the stock gearing compared to previous years? It looks like they changed the final drive gearing to 10/39, but I'm not sure about any internal gearing changes. I typically take my GG's to 10/42 from the standard 11/42, which is nice since front sprockets are cheap and the stock gearing is way too tall for our terrain.

I just wanted to check the oil / fuel mixture my fellow members here are using. Also does any found any oil brand that you are more pleased with than other oil brands? I have a 2006 Gas Gas TXT 250 Pro, 2005 Gas Gas TXT 125 Pro and i use 2% oil / fuel mixture. In the owners manual for the 2006 TXT 250 Pro it says 2% oil mixture I can not find the owners manual for the 2005 TXT 125 Pro but i found the 2004 owners manual for the TXT 125 Pro and the 2004 owners manual says 1,5% oil mixture. Any here knows if it is 1,5% or 2% for the 2005 TXT 125 Pro? The oil i am using now is Motul 2T, 710, 2 stroke oil 100% synthetic I have never used Motu…

Question, First modern trials bike 05 280 txt pro , and i noticed that when i put the bike in neutral while it was running, which was difficult to find most of the time ?? (usual thing !?) The gearbox seemed to make a noise, if i pulled the clutch in it went away, no change if i leant the bike either way. I only noticed it halfway through first day of riding it, Is this normal ? i know some road bikes have noisy clutchs (honda hornet 600) But im alittle concerned. Killed the bike, found neutral again ,and it stopped, tried it later and made no difference cheers Mat

So according to TUK these will come with Ohlins rear shock and some other "racing" bits and will be delivered next month. Then in May comes the Raga bikes. Can the market stand all these special editions??

Noticed my gearbox oil is a bit milky, was hoping it was just a little winter condensation build up as it lives in a cold garage, but have just changed the oil and its gone milky pretty much straight away. So is this likely to be water pump seals letting coolant into the oil? Or could it be quite a bit of moisture build that'll take a little while to disappear? Or maybe water being sucked up the breathers? No other weirdness by the way, it's not smoking white smoke or anything. I will measure the coolant level and monitor it to see if that's where its coming from and I'll also check the clutch cover gasket when I get a minute. The bike has been used in deep water since th…

Hi all I have just recently purchased a brand knew 2006 gasgas 125 which was super cheap! Iam buying it off a well trusted bike shop owner in my local club and he said he will prep it for me and I am going to pick iyt up this weekend! I was just wondering what you gasgas guys do to your bikes when you first get them apart from the rear suspension? From what I have heard when a dealer says they will prep it for you they usually just threaten the swing arm and stuff with grease and so I have been told the first thing i should do is grease the swing arm! iS THIS REALLY NESSESSARY! (******* caps lock) Cheers sean

Having some issues getting the front wheel out of my txt 250 pro. I have undone all of the screws on the bottom clamps and was expecting to just tap the shaft through, but it is stuck solid, is it normally that tight? Don’t really want to hit it too hard if there is something else stopping it.

Bike startas first time assuming I can actually get the engine to turn over, everytime I kick it the lever goes down but I don't think the engine is turning over. Just bought the bike and the guy who sold it to me said that to start it I have to not rest my foot on the lever first and not to take up the slack in the lever before kicking it, he said just to kick it straight off. This does seem to be working as everytime I've started it its been using that technique. I just find it odd because when starting my 4T Supermoto and my '07 rev 3 I rest my foot on the lever, find tdc then kick it, which works every time for those two bikes. Seems either the starter mechanism is …

My woodruff key sheared a couple weeks back and I put a fresh one in a couple days ago, Tried to start it and it wasn’t having any of it, checked fuel supply and spark and they were both fine... cleaned the carb just in case. It very occasionally backfires when kicking it over. I can’t think what it is. I’m not sure what I’m looking for when it comes to the stator (good or bad) but I presume it’s okay as I have nice strong blue spark. I’ve got some pics so you can tell me if there’s anything wrong, cheers

Took my txt pro 280 out for the first time today. Bike started on 3 rd kick, rode down to the area for practice and the bike cut out. Could not get it to start after 20 - 30 kicks, took plug out and it was dry (new ngk iridium) then pulled choke up and it started but raced away on tickover, turned choke off and it struggled to tick over. Carried on and rode around but every time i backed off the gas it wanted to cut out. Not really sure what the problem is but it seems like carb starvation. 1- only start with choke (hot or cold) 2- wants to stall when backing off throttle. Have not had a delorto carb before so did not want to play with the screws until i knew what the…

Hey all, started having a rather annoying problem with my 2010 Gas Gas Txt Racing. The bike is a 125, should this make any difference. Anyway - The bike will not start from cold on the kick start, I end up running down the road and bump starting it. I dont know whats causing this, but often, if I manage to finally kick her into life, she'll run as if choked for five minutes or so with lots of smoke. If I bump start her, it'll run fine. The bike is quite hard to bump start also, takes two or three attempts. The kickstart mechanism is not damaged atall, so it is delivering the normal stroke to the starter gears. The bike kickstarts when warm easily. So far, I have put …

Hi folks, First post and a question, I know somewhat lame but I got a pretty strange thing going, hoping this is some kind of a known issue.. I got this 2017 Contact ES, for a girlfriend, that decided later she can't hack dirt bike riding after all, so I figured what the heck, let me go ride it myself. The bike is essentially new, maybe 2 hours run time. I go with my usual riding buddies to Walker, carry 2 extra 750ml bottles of premix. After adjusting to it for the first half hour, I'm starting to giggle and have a ball picking the most gnarly line I can see and still making it.. After a while I go up this rooty ledge and all of a sudden the darn thing just sta…
