Last week I had a high compression cylinder head insert installed on my 250 (S3 insert). Compared it with a standard 250 of the same year (at the dealer's) and it feels much stronger and runs cleaner. So very happy with the result. The high compression is noticeable when starting, but it still starts with the first kick warm, three when cold. Strange thing is that the idle went up. Stalling it now is almost impossible, but clutch control needs some adaption. Any thoughts how idle can increase by a high compression insert?

Hi all With the lack of 2017 250 Ice Hell and Fajardo reps on the market, i’m now looking at Verticals, mainly a 300 that I can pick up at a good price. I understand that in general, if you’re any less than a pro, you should stick with the 250’s. I’m a 26yr old clubman level rider just getting back into trials after a few years out, and wondering what peoples thoughts are on the 250 vs 300? Are the 300’s a real monster to deal with or is there just a load of controllable torque? Has anybody got experience of softening a 300 vertigo with the slow throttle, fly wheel weight and/or low compression head insert? Of course, I could just get the WiFiCo…

Well done Vertigo, lovely looking bike to get the kids excited, only comments would be, how about some protection on that exhaust pipe ? Little people falling off in the mud and they don't have the self preservation instincts ( or burn experiance ) of adults to know not to touch it. Will it be entry level pricing or is it a rich mans toy.

I’m looking at doing some suspension tweaks on my bike, I just feel it’s a bit firm at both ends, I’ve had it about a year so it will all be well bedded in. It’s not something I’ve done before I tend to just get used to how there set up but I feel I need to alter mine now. Any advice would be great

Hi Folks, my Vertigo ('17 Ice Hell 300) rear linkage has developed a fair amount of play in the swingarm. Appears the dog bones are worn. I have heard there is a newer rear linkage design for the '18 and newer models which I believe is compatible with the '17 models (?). Anyone know if this is so? And if it is recommended to make the switch? Or should I just replace dog bones and be done with it? Cheers!

When i got the bike it started up on the first kick then i rode a bit ad killed it with the kill cord that goes around your arm (it replaces the stop button). 20 seconds later i tried starting it up and it took a good 12 or more kicks to get it going but i was using the same technique. I rode for 10 and killed it again (same way). And i couldn't get it started again,no matter what i tried it wouldn't make a noise. The next day I would try it again but nothing. The dealer came and picked it up, the next they they were able to start it perfectly.... Has anyone else had this problem, or am I too weak to start the bike? xd

I'm currently looking at a Vertigo Ice Hell 300 and i was wondering if it would be too powerful and too difficult to maintain by myself. I am a 6ft, 11St, 16 year old who is riding at a good green - course level at all clubs. Do people think it would be too powerful even if it had really low gears and on mapping setting 3? Any advice would be really useful ?

Hi As the title says, has anyone tried softening a Vertigo, (of any cc) by either adding an additional base gasket or a head insert? If so was there a discernible change and how does the alteration work with the fixed EFI maps?

My 2016 Camo had been working great, then started having shifting troubles. The lever sticks in up position after shifting up, can’t make another shift until push down slightly and then back up, almost like using a ratchet driver. In neutral the lever has a lot of free play in both directions. Any ideas what could be wrong?

Went out yesterday and when I got to the venue I noticed my oil had gone milky, it wasn’t like that when I last rode it which was a couple of weeks ago, I’ve changed it yesterday and checked to water level and it’s fine, anyone got any ideas why it’s done it ?

on my brothers ice hell we was checking over all the bolts etc and noticed the swingarm allen head bolt on the left is just spinning and doesn't get any tighter. the right hand side is tight. is there a nut you cant see behind the tank or somewhere to hold whilst you tighten it? thanks

my brother has just bought a 16 ice hell. we was swapping the master cyclinder covers over to some nice red csp ones earlier and noticed the clutch master cyclinder was completely empty of fluid. which seems weird as it worked when I test rode it a few days ago. I'm presuming it will need bleeding rather than just topping up as its completely empty up top. and how are these bled? there isn't a nipple near the casing where the hose is like on my beta. thanks
