  1. You don't say what type of plug you've fitted. If your electrical system is weak, get the best plug you can that maximises the Sparks.
  2. Hi john, respect the enforced embargo for a bit at the moment........then, just south of Blandford on the A350 is XHG Tigers ground, Selby Park, and a practice ground near to it. XHG Tigers, Ringwood MCC, Shaftesbury & District and Yeo vale clubs all local to you to compete and learn, and there is Waterside club, many events at Bransgore and Bridport abit further afield! Im in Blandford, similar age to you, private message me when things pick up again and we can ride a few trials together, learning on proper sections. cheers Jon.......
  3. What's wrong with a couple of bags for life, one on each foot. Best 20p you'll ever spend.....????

    2x2 SWM TL320

Please don't ask us where you'd get spares for it! ?
  5. Pretty much the only interchangeable parts would be the tyres and front mudguard ? They are completely different in engine, gearbox and chassis.
  6. Check your earth is good, lost a spark due to this!
  7. Had something similar with another bike trailer, I used one of those movement plates with industrial castors on! Got it from lidl for about a tenner and it's ideal for this purpose.
  8. You can use Muc-off or similar to spray on prior to cleaning, get yourself some dishwashing brushes as well, ideal for poking into places to clean where you can't get your hands , ( oooh Matron) and a lot of these cleaning product people make aftercare sprays as well, if you want. i agree with Jimmyl, WD40 sprayed on and wiped in is ideal.
  9. As far as I was aware, the 200pro had a 125 gearbox with the 156 barrel. Im not sure the 125 gearbox would take the extra torque generated by the 212cc barrel of the 240pro.! I do know they were not the same gearbox on the both models.
  10. If you've got transport, clump farm, on the A350 between A31 and Upton bypass at Poole. You can be a gentle or difficult as you want it......
  11. A friend stuck two round bicycle puncture repair patches together, sticky side to sticky side, then drilled a hole through the middle. hey presto, perfect size! have a go, it'll cost nothing!
  12. How is Devon, pasty land ? the pasty is Cornish! however, good luck with the 125.
  13. Where in Dorset are you. Are you riding XHG or Ringwood summer series?
  14. If it's a stroker and you havent put a flushing agent through, then virtually everything would have had a fine film of the old oil that would have been enough to just prevent damage for your 5 seconds of running it. Dont sweat it is best advice, it should be fine.....
  15. If you check out, wobbly Will's trials adverts, sorry trials central, naming another site, there's a fantic set of wheels for sale with conical hubs for £100!
  16. Crank case seals ! It is most likely the carb, but don't be blinkered, your symptoms could be crank case seals also......sorry.
  17. As the subframe is not the main frame, you may find this is not regarded as a change, the same as lowering kits etc. the exhaust, if it's for more power etc then that could be expensive and the insurance company may want a Dyno report as the bike may move insurance groups. If it's not to increase power, just cause the old ones knackered and you like the sound of the new one, let them know but it may not be an increase. These opinions are based on some of my experiences. Some insurance companies will give you advice before you make your changes. May be worth a phone call.
  18. They've been over tightened, try slacking the retaining ring off! Then check for excess play in the head bearings.
  19. Hi boner,. I'm in North Dorset! You've got a couple, but there's also XHG Tigers, their trials ground is just south of Blandford, good club, actually has a trial on today, there's also Ringwood MC&LCC, trials on the Hants/Dorset border at Ringwood, another really good club! Bridport also has a cub, but don't go that way that often, but one to consider. im just starting out competing again after a long (kids imposed) lay off, so will see you out there!
  20. Can I come and practice at yours.....?
  21. Depends on how far west of London you want to travel. Ringwood, Hants, do a summer series, but it's a 90 minute drive from Staines/Hampton. Too far?
  22. A Fiat Doblo, ideal for you. sliding doors both sides, two bike size and cause it's a Fiat, cheap as chips. okay'ish to run as well and shares all parts with the car range so cheap from the specialist car parts stores!
  23. I thought the 335 was an updated 310, updated specs and conventional forks. Sandifords possibly have specs for the old 310 as they imported them at the time.
  24. Agree also, no need for decompresser, find tdc, then one good swift drive through on the kick start should do the job. Build ?'S
  25. Defo, 6v circuit, check it with a multimeter, that'll confirm ac or DC! if DC then no rectifier.
