  1. It does not matter, but I always used a dab of high temp silicon with them.

    TRS NIGHTMARE

Actually if you go back through his posts, he only had a water pump issue the first year and they replaced the case too. All this sounds more like it was over heated and the problems snowballed. This can happen to any bike.
  3. 2020 TRS RR. I would save more money for what you really want.
  4. I think it was more confused with chain length. I remember having a World round bike, `92 Zero that had a 43 tooth sprocket that needed a half link to work. The half link on the production bikes are fairly common now, but their was a time that it was considered poor engineering.
  5. The cab is venting? That is not a cross flow.

Somebody would have to have a key to open the factory front door!

    TRS NIGHTMARE

We have a 2018 300 RR. We did have to replace the water pump seal after a 80 mile trials with 80 sections at altitude. Also the fuel cap vent would not vent enough so drilled it out. Total cost zero dollars and 2 day wait time for parts. Awesome machine. It`s my sons and soon to be mine. DWB5151, why does everything take 3 weeks? Very odd.
  8. So it would be unfair for Adam to remove the weights because it would be unfair to Bou? ?
  9. The trouble with the Rev 3 was the low first gear. I ran a 10 CS with stock rear sprocket. I always rode 2nd in almost every section.
  10. So the lower steering head has bolt holes for a fender? I highly doubt it.
  11. Up to 300 in Trial 2 and no limit in the GP class! Like it should be. I wonder if they changed anything else that is good, like the weight limit.
  12. Yeah, you bought a bike that you can`t buy an ignition for. Good Luck.

    2008 Rev 3 Mods

The `08 was a very good machine as is, just ride it a lot. Other wise sell it and buy an Evo.
  14. My son had a 2015 300T. Big difference in the frame 2017 and newer.
  15. Are you not using red rubber grease when rebuilding the calipers?
  16. That is a shame for some riders, but I understand why for what you mainly ride. The true SS is like riding a modern Bultaco. No zip to it at all.
  17. Glad to see you posted about a Beta after seeing the Vertigo post. If you liked the 200, you would be doing yourself a favor buying a 250 EVO. Very tame engine, BUT it can really grunt unlike the 200. And at the same time you can let the rev`s fly and it can do anything the 300 does. Being it runs the lowest compression, it is a mild starter too. I have had mine since 2016 and it`s just so forgiving a bike.
  18. The gassers are difficult to start till you get used to them. The last Gas Gas that I bought was from an owner that could not start it. Mtself, I would not buy a bike I could not start. My two cents.
  19. First off you did not give year and if you just got it. Chances are you turned down the idle. It will never start with a low idle.
  20. The worry is the tire can still slip a little during every ride. It depends on the tire. I had a terrible weekend running a tube in a 2003 Rev 3. Dunlop seem to hold the bead tighter. I would use a quality tire lube and sealer when mounting.
  21. Gasserguy is probably right. Most Uk riders do not realize that the UK bikes are detuned compared to the rest of the world.
  22. Either the carburetor is off or you need to learn better clutch control. The 250 pro is a wonderful bike.
  23. If you do replace the bolt, it has to be hollow as that is the vent for the tranny.
