I tried this but it didn't work for me and I switched to Kokusan.
Whenever the spark went out it was always the regulator/rectifier box so I guess if you can find the right diode or whatever you can solder in a replacement.
-
This guy rides it amazingly well and it sounds modded out. I believe it uses a Yamaha TTR motor so spares should be plentiful for the motor.

I have the same year bike and replacing this part fixes the no spark or no fan problem.

Except that I had to replace that box 3 more times over the years when the spark or fan wouldn't work so I switched to a Kokusan ignition.

Jim took down all his videos that have GG branding on it. This is the second half of the DVD that came with my 07 pro.
He has a good video on youtube about replacing main bearings if you decide to do it while the cases are split.

Colton Haaker also started in trials.

What's the deal with Smage and Frexia being tied and Smage gets the win because he dabbed first? I never heard of that rule before. Should have been a rideoff like the sudden death playoff they had at the Masters golf the same day.
-
The checker at the top of the hill has 2 fingers up. Marc only had a 1 and 3 for the day so this must be the 3. They caught the left dab and the double right dab so it was a good job observing. From their viewpoint, they didn't have a good angle of the front wheel going over the tape so gave him the benefit of the doubt. It cost Bryan Roper the podium though.

At the highest level, I think trials is the safest by seeing how world champions can win so many titles in a row.
-
I bought my Kokusan ignition as a complete kit from trialsbikebreakersuk ebay store. I was lucky to get it as a kit but usually you can find the parts separate or ask them to bundle it.
-
I have the same bike with Ducati ignition. I replaced the regulator/recitfier 3 times. The fan quit once and the ignition quit twice. The last time it would start cold, then after about 20 minutes it would die with no spark. After it cooled down it started again and then die when warm.
I got fed up with Ducati and replaced the whole ignition with Kokusan and haven't had any problems.

I would pull the cylinder then decide what parts to order. You may need to have the cylinder replated.
My enduro bike was making a similar noise and I pulled the cylinder off and found that I had up and down play on the connecting rod. Now I have to split the cases, replate the cylinder and order lots of parts for lots of labor.

I have a rubber carb boot on a vintage bike that got so hard that it wouldn't fit back on. I soaked it in 3 parts rubbing alcohol,1 part wintergreen oil and it became soft and pliable.

I'd like to have an easily removable electric start that weighs about 7lbs.
When I ride my 300 lb dual sport, I'll start the bike a few times a ride. All new dual sports have e-start.
When I ride my 230 lb. enduro bike, I'll start my bike a handful of times a day. Most new enduro bikes have e-start.
I can do without e-start on these bikes since I would only have to kick start a few times a day and if I stall and crash, it's my fault that I have to be annoyed by kickstarting it.
On my trials bike while practicing, I'm have to kickstart dozens of times a day and would like to push the magic button while stuck in awkward position. I'm constantly stopping to clear, walk new lines and rest. It get annoying to have to kick start all day. In competition I'd like to take it off.

Usually the Ducati regulator/rectifier fails and you get no spark or no fan.

Good stuff. I'm going to give it a try. The author also has a detailed instructions on aluminum marzochhi forks.

How much pressure do you use? My HVAC guy said I can use his nitrogen tank. Maybe I can install a shrader valve?
I have some worn out twin shocks from an 80's bike that had little/no damping left. I drilled a hole, drained the oil, welded a nut on, added power steering fluid, and closed up with a bolt. The damping is pretty good now.
I want to try the same procedure with an old Fantic Section shock, add a shrader valve and pressurize with nitrogen, then if that works, try it on the Sachs.

I have a Sachs shock on my 07 Gas Gas. It doesn't leak but needs the oil changed. I watched your video and was thinking I can take it apart just enough to change the oil, not take it completely apart like you did. A couple of questions: can I release the pressure without drilling a hole? Are your repressurizing with just air? Thanks.

Here's some more photos of the world's first e-start trials bike!

Here's another one:

I contacted them a couple of years ago and he said they make frames for Gas Gas and they are planning on using their frames and put a Zongshen 4T engine in it. Maybe this Tenaci-Wong is a Chinese version of the Gas Gas Contact they made a few years ago with a Chinese 4T 200cc motor.

It looks like you have stock jetting. My only change is a 38 pilot jet at 900 ft elevation. Watch this for screw settings:

I bought a complete used Kokusan system from trialsbikebreakersuk ebay store for $300 USD. They usually have most separate components but you will need the flywheel also. Any Pro model with a Kokusan system can be used for parts.
If your bike dies, doesn't start and has no spark, I would assume it has to do with the Ducati system not the carb.
