I've notice that my throttle cable is chaffing on the lower yoke of my 04SY,is this common?, & what the best way to reroute the cable? I notice on full lock it sometimes catches on the yoke along with the clutch cable etc: although secondhand i'm sure the cable routing is standared. Any advice appreciated, before I wrap said cables in something more substantial!!

Sorry about the title of this one, I couldn't think of a different word for nipples. Well as you've guessed, my rear tyre is going down due to air escaping from the spoke nipples. It wasn't a problem on Sunday (luckily) but lost it's full 5psi over 24 hours. Has anyone ever had this problem? The rubber band (seal) around the circumference of the wheel is in place but obvioiusly leaking. Has anyone ever changed one of these? If so, is there a certain way? Thanks for your help on this.

Hi all, I had a ride on a brand new Scorpa SY175F last weekend. Brilliant bike, in many respects. But one thing I really did notice was the way the clutch had an unusual movement to it. When pulling the clutch in, or letting it out, the movement felt dampened (particularly on letting it out). Now my curiosity has got the better of me and I

I understand that it is Deep purplish blue metallic coctail code 0564. So far the paint supplers over here have been little help. Thanks Kevin O

I am seriously thinking of buying an SY250F when the come out in late February. I have heard they were having some minor carb problems but that they should be in the shops by the end of February. Does anyone have any other information on possible problems to expect with this new bike? Any tests done, any info available apart from the presentation pictures and factory brochures?

hello, I tried the whole sunday to make a front hop on my TY 125 (I mean "lifting and moving the front wheel on site" ), but when I was totally wet I realized that I can't do it with with the standard suspension... it's too hard for me, i'm not a wrestling champ (probably things change with the racing, settable one) does anybody of you tried it with success? any possibility to have a softer set (changing fork oil)? thanks p.

Hello Scorpa people--can you advise? I'm thinking about a SY250, hopefully '04 or '05yr. Does anyone know what the difference is between these models? Are there different SY250 models i.e imports vs UK dealer bikes, have there been any clutch mods? I remember trying Martin Crosswaites bike (possibly an 03 model )at a show- the clutch was a bit heavy and the engine was easy to stall ( I think he had the timing advanced). At about the same time I also tried another 03 bike at a trial and it was much easier to use..lots of low down oomph! So if you see what I mean: I like cheese but not chalk. Any opinions please

Hi Guys Spotted a 175 Scorpa yesterday and it did sound rather nice, having owned a 125 version I was wondering if the 175 (I know it's only 143cc) version is much better? I can recall some issues with oil burners on the 175, what was wrong with them and how id they fix it? I did like my 125 but I must admit it could have done with a bit more power, second hand 125s are going for about

hello, some days ago I bought a TYS-125F (with hydraulic clutch). Just few questions from a newbie: - Together with the bike I got the smaller, z11 sprocket. I need to mount it, but I didn't found a real seeger in the packet, just a small (open), bronze colored ring. Do I have to use it for z11 sprocket mounting? - the bike does not start easy. I need 15, extremely tiring minutes to start the engine... is it notmal? - cannot find the idle set...where is it? and where is the air screw on the carburator? - the manual talks about 1000km. for run up. 1000 km???? so many weekends... sorry for the stupid questions, thank you for your attention... m.
