Adam Raga stated after he won his first WTC, 01 in Goldendale, how Doug Lampkin helped him so much, always had the time to offer help in spite of them being competitors, and how if he ever became World champ he would want to be just like Doug. That all changed with the strike at the Spanish opener and not only was it a strike for most of the Spaniards, but some including Raga actually stood in the section trying to block Lampkin, Frexia, and the others from walking the damn sections! To cancel a World Round just over a month before it is scheduled to take place is unbelievable. You would expect it of Octagon in the indoor but not the outdoor series and as yet no official explanation has been given on the FIM trial website. I'm sure there are plenty of disgruntled riders, factories and of course trials enthusiasts who have already made arrangements and gone to great expense to attend the Spa event, which was to be the final round in the series. These people, and I'am please to say I am not one of them, deserve an explanation and it better be a good one....

Hi All, Just a hypothetical to fill a long boring night shift. We've reached the end of the season and one of the things that has struck me is number of times Andy has talked about the "man-made" element of outdoor trials and the severity of them, pushing the GPs to a "circus-like" trial. These bikes will do anything so where is the limit. The stuff is great to watch but it's great to watch the best riders in the world compete on any terrain What would we, the trials riders/afficionados of the world like to see in the championship in terms of rules, time limits, the nature of the sections that sort of stuff.
