Scottish Justice now there's an oxymoron------Scottish Justice Secretary MacAskill's decision . Give me time to find a link to this asinine jerk; Kenny MacAskill, so the world can see this politician who's in love with the sound of his own voice. This guy contradicts himself so many times in one statement. It beggars belief that they've let this terrorist go on compassionate grounds, what compassion were his innocent victims shown? They didn't get to go home to their loved ones for their last 3 minutes never mind 3 months. Cue: Backlash from Trials Central's Jockenese cabal.

Firstly id like to say good luck and well done for the year, hopefully he will be world champion tomorrow as he just set pole! Revolutionised F1 in one year! Anyway, dont no if any one watched the programme about Hamiltons rise to the top and his success? There was a bit in it about his mental ability and mental attitude, it showed him as a boy on blue peter racing the remote car series and they had a specialist watching and then she described how his concentration and winning attitude was that of an adult. Ron Dennis signed him for Mclaren wen he was around age 10. So was this due to his mental attitude more than winning races, how did he decide 10 years ago he woul…

Having just watched another episode of BBC's Top Gear programme, I've come to the conclusion that the producers have made a concerted effort to 'dumb it down'.... a lot. Now in the past, Top Gear would never have been described as educational, sometimes bearly even informative, but the new series, (in my opinion) is utter garbage. If Top Gear is now a comedy programme then they need to employ some comical writers and some real actors, not Clarkson and co who merely come accross as overpaid arrogant idiots. (Actually excellent motoring journalists; just NOT comedy actors.) I thought the piece on 24 hour road repairs was dross and had reached the bottom of the barrel, …

A couple of weeks ago my phone line went off, after it was fixed it took me a couple of days to work out that the brains had been blown out of my router as it still partially worked. Anyway I've got a new router & after intially things been fine I've noticed that I'm unable to access some sites on the web, the browser sits & looks for the site & eventually times out. The problem occurs at all pc's on my hard wired network. (thick walls, old house) I've tried removing all phones etc & only having the router connected up & nothing changes. Can the blow out have shagged the wiring in my house? Is the router a duffer? Any suggestions? or is it time to star…

Bit of an odd one this... I've got a USA battery charger which has been pre-wired for American plug sockets and I want to change it to a normal UK 3-pin plug. It currently has 2 flat blade pins, 2 wires, no earth, no fuse etc. I want to chop the USA plug off and wire up a UK plug so that I don't have to use an adaptor (can't get one delivered before Christmas anyway). The wiring isn't coloured, just two black wires running side by side as one flat cable, the blades look identical except that one of them has a number '1' next to it. I'm guessing that this is the live feed and the other is the neutral? Finally, how do I work out the fuse size? (3amp, 5amp or 13amp) Deta…

To: The citizens of the United States of America: In light of your failure to nominate competent candidates for President of the USA and thus to govern yourselves, we hereby give notice of the revocation of your independence, effective immediately. Her Sovereign Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will resume monarchical duties over all states, commonwealths, and territories (except Kansas , which she does not fancy). Your new prime minister, Gordon Brown, will appoint a governor for America without the need for further elections. Congress and the Senate will be disbanded. Went to go flying Sunday evening. All had been running well on the aircraft, then I go to do my run-up test on the plane that eve and it is rough, not running right at all on either magneto under load. Thought about plug fouling an such, reved it out a few times, then tried the carb heat and it went smooth as glass. Went back to normal with no carb heat then rough mag check again. Kept running at low revs for a while to get some heat into the motor, but no change on the runups and then it seemed ok so I pulled out on the runway and applied full power for takeoff and it ran rough again, so aborted takeoff. I had noticed a large swing in altimeter setting upon preflight, d…
