Hi, does anyone know if you can get a bike on the back of a honda crv with the spare wheel on the back door? Will it fit with the spare wheel off or does the frame that holds the wheel still get in the way? It's an 05 crv if it helps.

  2. I want to Buy a 3 bike trailer and i think i may buy one from Dave Cooper but i wanted to hear from someone who has one.

Hi, i am looking at getting a Nissan Vannette and have been told the Serena Mpv is the same vehicle. Does anybody use one of these, how easy is it to remove all the seats to get a bike in? I like the idea of 8 seats every now and again for weekends away, not looking for speed. They seem to be cheaper than the vans on e-bay and obviously much better equipped. Was going for the 2.3 diesel engine. Thanks for any advice. Jim

Hi, Ive purchase an old mk1 Caddy Pickup as a run about and to put my trials bike in the back. rather than just strapping it down, in the past I seen some brackets that bolted to the back of your pick up and clamped the front wheels in. Does anyone know where to buy these or is anybody using them??? Photos of your set up would be a bonus

My brakes have failed on my citroen c15 diesel 1.9 (2002 model) today I have tried to fix so as to transport my bike on sunday to the local trial but I am stumped !!! following the brakes giving up on me,,i guessed on either calliper seals, brake line leak or master cylinder failure, however there is no leaks from any brake lines, callipers, slave cylinders and I have fitted a new master cylinder, bled the brakes but still no bite and pedal goes to the floor with engine running,i noticed that after pumping the pedal, there is fluid leaking from a thick rubber hose venting from the bulkhead to the floor but do not know what this i…

OK, I've searched the section and found that 2 trials bikes will fit into a Combo van - but my question is:- Will 2 bikes fit into a CREW version, with the rear seats folded down? I need 4 seats for occasional family use (picking up kids from school etc) but only use the 2 front seats when out on the bikes, with 2 bikes loaded in the back Thanks in advance

  14. For a year I use the german "quick out" system, which will be build in/out in half a hour: https://www.quickout.de/caravan-expansion-for-van/ It is ideal for the safe transport of motorcycles and for a comfortable overnight stay at the training ground. I use it firmly mounted in a L2H2 Opel (Vauxhall) Movano B = Nissan NV 400 = Renault Master III.

  17. Am currently looking at trials transport and favouring a 4WD because I dont fancy getting stuck at some of the muddy fields used for parking It will be a second vehicle on limited mileage insurance so not looking to spend a shedload so have been looking at either Mitsubishi Delica's or a Toyota RAV4, does anyone have experience of using a Dave Cooper type carrier (for one bike) on the back? Either that or suggestions for reasonably priced alternatives

As the title suggests really gents/ladies. How do you secure youre bike to the rack? After trying it myself i just dont have much confidence in my pride and joy not making an escape for freedom after a moderate bump. Pictures would be great if you have them, thanks.

I've seen a thread on here about Connect vs. Caddy, but it wasn't clear if people were talking about the new shape (2013 onwards) Connect or the older shape, Will the new shape long wheelbase (L2) Connect fit 2 bikes and occasionally 3? Thanks

hi guys, im looking at buying a van after christmas but only for trialing and maybe sometimes to go to work if the weathers bad. ive heard a few people say that you need to be careful when insuring the vans as the insurance companies dont like it when you say that your going to be carrying a bike in the back at weekends and bump up the premiums. has anybody had any past experiences of this and what is the best thing to do about it? ive been looking at getting a vauxhall vivaro and any comments on these would also be greatly appreciated of things to watch out for etc etc. Cheers Coxy
