Hello, has anyone out there got one of these ? I love the concept but how good are these bikes ? Some great offers around on the pre registered 2016 models . Would we be better off re gearing a standard 4rt and get the lonride seat ? . Would love to hear any feedback on these , to be honest I don't think they will be produced for long, the market is small, a bit like the Scorpio Tride, but they are very rare now and rocketing in value ! . There's a place for an in between trials / enduro for some people ? What do you think ? .. I know the pic is not the standard machine by the way .

A question for the lads who ride them in the Scottish, what are they like on the road? What sort of speed will they maintain on say 10/41 gearing? Anybody tried a 36t on the rear, to speed them up a bit Thinking they would make a better bike than a Beta Alp/Scorpa T ride/Radonnee perhaps with a long ride seat/tank perhaps

Hi .I just got a 20hr of 2011 4RT Repsol from my friends The bike is in near perfect condition , I did all the oil change , spark plug changed , valve clearance checked , coolant level checked. It is very easy to start when cold .normally 1-3 slow and smooth kick. ( But when engine get hot after 1 hour of continuous practice (mostly short hill climbing, crossing gaps,trackstand) no sign of sluggish during ride at all. but If the motor stop it won't start again. I did reset the ECU , check the plug (spark and dry) , no smell of gas when start . still cannot start. engine sometime fireup for a few stroke and die . not touch the throttle. I'm improving my 4rt after riding it for a year as standard and knowing it can be turned into a greater bike with some nice alterations. First thing, I know it's already a great bike and Toni Bou could win on it but I want to make it better for myself, mr ordinary. I've got an ohlins shock sorted, I've already sourced a PTB, leads and software. Now I'm looking at exhaust systems to get the most out of it. I spoke to Trials enduro direct today to source an S3 titanium front pipe but they're out of stock for 4-6 weeks. Hello everyone i'm new to the site as me and my father are repairing and eventually restoring my 81 Cota 200 and i'm probably going to need some of your wisdom! I've had the bike for about 4 years now, and it was running fine until one day, it randomly wouldn't fire up (there's no longer a spark), and also the gears are messed up.... It's difficult for me to explain what the gears are doing and i'll give it my best at describing the problem but chances are i'll have to take it to a specialist! right the gear lever/selector wil click up and down but i think it's going into other gears all in one click. i.e if i go up from neutral (when i can get it into neutral that is)…

I have an opportunity to purchase a 2016 300RR, which to be honest, looks pretty stylish in the flesh. Having always run 2T bikes previously (enduro and now trials), I'm curious to know how the 300RR stacks-up against the 2T competition. I notice that the 300RR's weight is ball-park at 72kg (when compared with my 315 at any rate), but wonder how the engine 'feels' in comparison and whether it'd be lacking in power against a similar capacity 2T. I am a big fan of the way 2T power is delivered, their general lack of bulk and low running/maintenance costs, but the 4T itch seems to need scratching and seeing as big H does 4T as well, if not better than anyone else, …

Hi all, I have a 2015 4RT. I ride rocks quite a lot and my bike is gaining scars quite quickly in the shock linkage, footapegs and engine case areas. I know the bike needs a stronger larger sump guard but am struggling to find one that fits properly. I purchased one from H&D, a great bit of kit, but the bolt holes did not line up with my frame, so I returned it. (Great service by the way.) On enquiring with my dealer, he stated that the 2015 bike is slightly different from the pre 2014 bikes and that no one produces a sump guard for it yet. I have enquired with Splatshop but they say the part numbers for the CSP guard are the same from 2005 to 2015 and …

Was riding last weekend without any issues then in the afternoon bike refused to start hadnt dropped the bike or hit anything hard bike ran fine all morning fresh fuel did the throttle reset still nothing so went home got home to clean bike & it started but the died after a couple of minutes so new plug no luck plugs not exactly wet but smells of fuel so hoping not fuel related does this sound right? no spark so will check all connectors for anything obvious however cant for the life of me remove the 2 bolts on the fuel injector to allow me to remove the tank do I definitely need to remove the injector first? will remo…

Hi Im new to these trial bikes bear with me for my lack of knowledge. Bought a bike yesterday started on the fourth kick at the shop, tried starting this morning and no go. I do reset the ecu and press the kill switch before trying to start. Many thanks in advance

After a few questions on here I eventually found a bike, so I'm now the happy owner of a 2010 4RT. But immediately there's more questions:- First of all, does anyone know from where I can obtain some frame protectors in PLAIN black? All the ones I can find are carbon look and I'd rather have just plain black.

I just found a nice montesa cota 247, I am trying to what year it is, this is what I know montesa cota 247 frame and engine # are the same. it is a 21m 5 speed, there is a #stamp on the block 69.

My recently acquired Cota 200 has the frame number MH200 00044 I cannot find any engine number. I assume the H is a reference to the Honda involvement but what year I would like to know. I am also curious as to the actual CC of the "200" engine
