  1. Vinnied is correct......I've had more interest and pre-sold orders on the new Cota 4rt than any year before. While all you daft buggers keep talking, customers keep ordering the bike...So keep talking and i'll keep taking orders...........Thanks D.........
  2. I've never saw a World Class rider with "shorty" levers on his /her bike. I feel the long lever have a bit more leverage allowing me for better clutch control...But I suck so pick the one you like best and go ride......D

  10. OK , Here's my 2 cents.. Raga as the 2004 Indoor Champ , Fuji as the 2004 Outdoor Champ , With Lampkin coming back in 2005 on the All new HRC/Montesa 4S to take the championship back..........D
  11. The 1999 Montesa Cota is a great bike, however the changes between a 1999 to a 2002/03 are extensive.. The biggest in my opinion would be the addition of the Showa suspension front and rear, followed by many refinements in frame geometry along with a few very impressive motor changes.. (porting etc).. To stay close to current i would suggest the 02/03 , or if the price is right on the 99 and its in good condition , the 99 makes a very capable trials machine....Good luck , have fun.......VIVA MONTESA...........Hope this helps........D Keystone Cycle

    Rtl Air Filters.

This probably not the best method but I use the stock air filter lid, and with that in hand I buy some filter element foam panels and construct my own using the lid as a guide. You can cut and glue the foam pcs. together and them I have my wife sew it on to the lid.... Looks like the orginal and holds up a bit longer... I do not know of anywhere to buy an RTL filter.....I have also used a 315 filter, a 314 filter a beta techno filter, all cut to size and then mounted to the original lid........Probably didn't help you much but custom made filter are not difficult to construct......Ishy may have a better solution.........D
