A full container of TRS One models arrived in the USA shortly after Christmas and is at the warehouse being distributed to the dealers. My local TRS dealer has about 15 bikes they just picked up.

I wish the best for Jotgas/G2 Grup. A friend is the USA importer and I've been hoping for the trials bikes to arrive for a year. The other Spanish manufactured trials bikes.... Vertigo, Gas Gas, Sherco/Scorpa, TRS are all getting bikes built and shipped, even to the USA. These bikes are all built using almost identical supply chains for components. I have a hard time understanding the delays with Jotagas?

Same for me. I wear pretty bulky Fox Titan Race hard knee/shin pads under my S3 Pilot pants. I find my MX pants way too loose and bulky riding trials.

It's not definitive, just my experience.... I've ridden newer Beta Evo 125's and Sherco/Scorpa 125 has more everywhere... bottom. middle, and top. I rider I know who had a Beta Evo 125, and now he rides a 200 and a 300SS. He got a ride on a newer Sherco 125, and he was impressed.

If you are in North America there is less change, as bikes in that market keep the Ohlins shock for 2021.Other markets switch to Reiger for 2021.

All the bikes are good, and have certain minor pluses and minuses in ownership. I've owned standard Gas Gas and Scorpa 125's. I presently ride a 2018 Scorpa 125 Factory. I've ridden Beta Evo125 and TRS 125RR. You don't say if you're a youth or adult rider? I'm an adult on a 125. I prefer it for ease of starting and lighter feeling. It does take more commitment and precise technique, especially in wet conditions doing larger obstacles and big hills. Pretty simply stated, the Sherco/Scorpa 125 is the engine of the class powerwise. TRS felt like everyone thinks a 125 feels. TRS125RR engine is getting a revision for 2021 though, so might have improved power.

Grattarola said he's ready to return to TrialGP class, after his second Trial2 World Championship. I imagine he'll be staying on Beta and replacing Dibs. Before the announcement I thought Dibs would possibly swap spots with Grattarola and drop down to TR2 with Beta. Best of luck to him in the next part of his life.

Buy the 200. It has enough power and with 6 speeds you can trail ride it. If and when you out grow it, the 200 will retain a good value when you sell it to go bigger.

There is a video where Sammy Miller talks about his first home built trials bike,it's geometry and how it's essentially the same a modern bike.... 63.5 degree steering head angle and 53 inch wheelbase. Jerry Young the first USA National Trials Champion and Father of Ryan Young 6 times USA National Champion, told me basically the same thing.... His first bike which he still owns and rides, a 1967 Triumph Cub converted from road to trials, has the same wheelbase and steering head angle as his 2019 Sherco. The main change over time has been the reduction of weight and lowering of the center of gravity.

Did you buy your bike from a new Gas Gas dealer who isn't really a trials shop?

Jitsie sells aftermarket Tech fork springs and Ohlins shock springs. Don't forget the exhaust side, as it could be restricted. At your bikes age and with the fact that it was poorly cared for before you got it, I would remove clean the whole exhaust system and repack the silencer.

Betas look good in white! Fork guards are a good addition for New England rocks.
