  1. Beta did not make the forks. So the dust seals could be found elsewhere. You could just run no dust seals with the neoprene fork covers.
  2. That would be the blue/pink and white era, my 18 year old sure laughs at my photo`s.
  3. Most people bought a 4RT then 4T. It will be interesting to hear your comments.
  4. There are covers made for the Sherco exhaust and tank.
  5. NOTE: for adjustment use a T-handle wrenches with jointed hexagonal socket From the manual.
  6. Very similar in size to a 4 pot AJP. Measure it up and compare.
  7. You will only find a parts breakdown.

    Beta Rev 3

The `04 had a 4 bolt rear sprocket, kind of orange/red graphics.
  12. The stock looking one sure is nice. But when you are sliding off an obstacle, it`s hard to beat the old flat simple one. The sleek looking one tends to throw you off to the side. That one from ty trials would do, but you could always have one made to your specs.
  13. Brakes are contaminated. Question is, brake fluid or ? You could always do the water trick. Heat up the bakes up and down the road and dump a bucket of water on the calipers and rotor.
  14. That`s enough to start the bike easily with the kick starter. And yes a flooded bottom end will make your life miserable. You should be on the right track.

    Beta Help

You have adjusted the piston on the M/C too far in. Now it`s not releasing. Back the adjuster off until you have some free play between the lever and the plunger.
  17. The crankcase drain bolt usually is never used, but should the bike ever be submerged it sure is useful!.
  18. My 1974 Ossa Explorer. Yes. Taken Nov. `74. Candy Apple Red by me. And it came this way! Kind of strange, looks like an MAR. It was an explorer frame and Explorer on the title.
  19. No, it was a 450.I remember the test ride in Cycle World or Dirt Bike. Never remembered the right hand shift. Interesting.
  20. Go to the Beta USA web site and use the Evo work shop manual as it`s basically the same motor. Otherwise just ask on this forum.
  21. Do a compression check. Pretty sure your top end is about done after your last post. Hard starting is a sign of low compression .
  22. This is the one I find interesting!
  23. Yellow shock or spring? At the same time your 4rt could be sagging pretty good. I was noticing that yesterday with 3 older 4rt`s next to 2 brand new 2016`s.
