Rob Edwards RIP
That is a great picture of the effort it took to get those bikes through the old style sections. No clutch, or brake work and barely any suspension. Just body English and determination. RIP.

climber ignition problems
Sure the stators did go out now and again. However most of the time the main bearings had gone too. Grap a hold of the flywheel and check for play while you are at it.

Ty 175 Transmission trouble
First off you have a spring and ball acting as a detent to keep the shift drum aligned. That is the first thing to check.

‘18 popping out of gear
It happened. Yesterday while out working on sections, I shifted up to second and went up a large rock wall and just after my rear tire cleared the top. Damn thing popped into nuetral while I was still on a steep hill and down I went. I blame it on a lazy shift. Worse thing I knew it was a poor shift.

KTM get his hands on GasGas?
Just imagine a Gas Gas with a reliable transmission.

Beta techno 250 gearbox oil
That was a great update for gassers. I always used atf, but that gm auto trac was really good and 3 times more expensive And I have always used ATF in my Betas since 1990.

Beta techno 250 gearbox oil
Multi plates. And I fix clutch drag with shims and different springs. The ATF is for hooking up quicker. Or you could buy the Beta Racing clutch for crazy money.

Beta techno 250 gearbox oil
It all depends on what terrain you ride. We ride large dry rocks, you need it to hit now! Most bike oil makes the Gasser lethargic. Different oil makes it progressive to the point it is too slow. But in the right terrain, (wet and muddy) it might be perfect.

Beta techno 250 gearbox oil
Faussy, and I run 10/40 motor oil in my Allison transmission instead of ATF for the same reason. Because it works better for what I use it for. Manuals are just a guide, not the last word on a subject.

Have You Broken Your Evo Rear Fender Yet?
Over the years I have broke a few brittle Beta fenders, as I got my first Beta in 1990. But my current 2016 Factory rear fender has somehow survived multiple hard crashes. I`d say the current fenders are just fine. Too much talking and not enough riding these days.

Sidi boot sizing
The Sidi`s are a narrower fit for sure.

Rev3 wierd no spark problem.
Hate to ruin your thoughts, but I bet you still have a ground issue. You went forever with no spark, and now it runs. I have knowledge of a guy that has been chasing the same thing on my old `01 for about ten years. It started a few weeks ago and he was thrilled. Until it did not.

Beta Rev 80 surging at 50% throttle or more
Did you change out the vent lines, or pinch the vent for the gas cap?
-
Spark Plug Lead Fouling
Well throw that crap away and start with fresh fuel and plugs. If you rarely ride them, a carb clean is more likely what is needed.

Stripped out the pin on rear caliper!
Did you try a Torx?

Evo CSP Hi Flow pump or not?
That is quite funny as water is the best coolant available.
-
Evo CSP Hi Flow pump or not?
Waste of money. I have installed one before, on someone else`s bike. I ride a 2016 Beta at high elevation, just did an 80 mile event at over 11,000 ft. 80 sections. Never a cooling issue.

St300 2010 carb tuning
No matter the carb, you have a pilot circuit problem. That first needs to be cleaned. I would try a couple larger pilot jets to make sure before changing to a new carb. The carbs were notoriously lean on the pilot jets from the factory.

St300 2010 carb tuning
Why would anybody buy a copy of the real thing that is new? It is called jetting 101. By the way, move your boot to the outside of your peg. Problem solved.

St300 2010 carb tuning
The carb is plugged up, Keihin? The jet tower needs to be cleaned out. (But first make sure the pilot circuit is clear and working) The jet tower is the one with the security torx screws.

Mitas Tyres any good for clubman
Nowadays they use that combo of tires on Enduro bikes.

Front forks
It is a specific measurement. And on the right side you have to pump it to get all the air out.
