  1. This farmer has about 500 hens, but no rooster, and he wants chicks badly. So, he goes down the road to the next farm and asks if they have a rooster that they would sell. The other farmer says, 'Yes, I've got this great rooster, named Kenny. He'll service every chicken you've got, no problem.' Trouble is, Kenny the rooster costs $3,000, a lot of money, but the Farmer decides he'd be worth it. So, he buys Kenny. The farmer takes Kenny home and sets him down in the barnyard, but first he gave the rooster a pep talk. 'I want you to pace yourself now. You've got a lot of chickens to service here, and you cost me a lot of money. Consequently, I'll need you to do a…

Bit of an odd one this... I've got a USA battery charger which has been pre-wired for American plug sockets and I want to change it to a normal UK 3-pin plug. It currently has 2 flat blade pins, 2 wires, no earth, no fuse etc. I want to chop the USA plug off and wire up a UK plug so that I don't have to use an adaptor (can't get one delivered before Christmas anyway). The wiring isn't coloured, just two black wires running side by side as one flat cable, the blades look identical except that one of them has a number '1' next to it. I'm guessing that this is the live feed and the other is the neutral? Finally, how do I work out the fuse size? (3amp, 5amp or 13amp) Deta…

It's a pleasure for me work on my mini lathe. Sometimes I gave my motorcycles a gift.

  6. Hi everybody, You must forgive me for bringing this subject up but I think it is a valid query, so I ask you all to bear with me. A while ago I bought a copy of Steve Saunders' book 'A complete guide to motorcycle trials On trial, my life in motorcycle trials'. For one reason and another I did not have a good look at it until quite recently. On reading chapter 7 "how to ride' I had a feeling of de ja vu. On delving further into the text a lot of the content seemed familiar and I got out my copy of the publication entitled "Ride it! the complete book of motorcycle trials by Don Smith". I was surprised and puzzled to find that whole swaths of chapter 9 "Riding the h…

Well, as much as I do like the bikes, the other fettish has been put off for a number of years, and I have tried to balance things out, but I had to get this project done at sometime in my life, so the past two years I have had to try to get things done in my off time on this. The list is too long to get into, but suffice it to say there is little to nothing untoutched in getting this "76 vintage Cessna 150 up to speed. The front cowling is off for illustration in the pics. If money were no issue, could do more, yet even at this level they are few.

This video shows the winner of "Ukraine’s Got Talent", Kseniya Simonova, 24, drawing a series of pictures on an illuminated sand table showing how ordinary people were affected by the German invasion during World War II. Her talent, which admittedly is a strange one, is mesmeric to watch. best viewed on full screen

I was watching "Ghost Hunters" last night. Pretty compelling stuff. How can one believe in Angels and not at least believe there is a dark side too? On the other hand, how can you believe in Ghosts and not believe in Angels or God?

No crusifix jewellery to be worn, no veils, relegious wars world-wide, etc. etc. Just makes you wonder what the world and the population would fight and bicker over if there was no religion???? Just been told I wont be getting a pay rise.. because this year your performance has to be above average before you get anything, apparently my....Champions Change & Six Sigma were below average and so was my Makes people better category, (must think I'm a Doctor also) and to finish off the insults my Global Mindset is also below average. My beloved manager also managed to add a load of facts that were not true which were mainly due to him being incompetent. So no pay rise for me this year and I'm sure he will find another reason not to give me one next year, Oh well lets go make that Voodoo doll that looks like him, I think a hammer and six inch nails would work bett…
