Started to have an issue with my son's Beta EVO 80 and the fuel tap not always turning out fully. Just wondered if anyone has managed to fit a better fuel tap? Cheers

Im not sure if this is the right forum to ask this question but here goes, How young can you be to ride a 250cc Trials bike within the ACU rules, If a 16/17 year old enters as a Youth 'A' he / She must ride a 125cc, However the rule book Page 157 at the bottom of the page states : "RIDERS AGE a) Adult riders : A Rider must be at least 16 years of age to participate as an Adult." So in effect a 16 year old as long as he enters as a "Novice" for example can ride a 250cc. Can anyone clear this up. Cheers, Vaughan.

Looking for a helmet for my daughter to start competing, what an absolute nightmare! Live not to far from a supplier in west cumbria so went to try them on and managed to get one that was a decent fit but had no ACU sticker on. When I enquired about this he said it passed all testing and was not sure if it needed a sticker on or not to compete in trials but did say that they could put one on if needed!! Tried to e-mail ACU with a question regarding this and its been a week and no reply, are they like this? So we are left in a dilemma of do we get the helmet or should we look for something else? Disappointed with the ACU. Can anyone clarify about having the sticker or rec…

So Beta aren't bringing in any REV50's any more and Gas Gas haven't got any of the 50's either. D class medium wheel is looking a little sparse. Still good thing is that if you have a REV50 Or Geared Gas Gas 50 the price will go up!

Hi, my son seems to have some ideas about getting a motorbike to learn to ride, and I'm trying to get him to try go in the trials direction.. Could anybody give me some ideas of what would be a suitable bike sizewise for him (preferably at the lower end of the price scale..). He's 12 in mid-September, and is about average for his height, maybe a few cm more. Thanks, Kevin

  10. A question to all you parents out there. My 13yr old daughter is showing an interest in learning to ride a bike and getting into trials, but as she has never riden any kind of motorcycle before I am not sure what best to start her on. Although she is tall, she is not very heavy or strong, so I guess lighter and easy to start is important. main thoughts / questions: 1) Clearly one of the auto clutch bikes would be much easier for her to learn on, but are they too small for a tall 13yr old, and would she out grow it too quick? - which are the best auto options for her size and lack of skill? 2) Are TY80's already too small for a 13yr old, or too restricted in what they…

Can anyone post a picture of a big wheel 80 standing besides a full size Trials bike ? I want to get an idea of the size of a 80 (never seen a 80 in person). My 9 year old son is getting too big for his OSET 16.0, but the 80 might be too big for him. Thanks.

14 year old 2005 B Class British Champ Jack Challoner has agreed terms with John Lampkin to stay on the much improved 125 Beta for 2006. This will be Jacks 4th full year as a beta Teamster which has taken him to 2 British Titles along the way. Jack will also be wearing Beta / Ritratto Sport clothing as part of this deal for 2006. Jack has long been associated with Wayne Braybrook & X-Citing clothing, but will be moving to the new brand at the end of the year. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Wayne for all his help over the last 3 years. Although he will not be completely cutting all ties with Wayne as he will still be using REP & Hope pro…

A big well done to Abergavenny for another brilliant National. The A and B sections had been eased but were tough,(just as it should be). I think we must have been the only place not to get the rain which made for a great weekend.

New on here just looking for a bit of advice please! I'm just looking to get my son, who's 7, involved in trials and the first hurdle is what to buy. The Osets seem like a great idea due to the low noise factor allowing him to practice in the garden. Are they a viable alternative to the TY80? With either of these options are there plenty of trials (Midlands Centre) that would accommodate either of these bikes? Or do i need to bite the bullet and spend money on a Rev50 or TXT Boy? You advice will be gratefully recived! Thanks

Hi, I am after a bit of info please, my lad has done 2 yrs now on his 36volt OSET and is ready to progress to a petrol bike, I like the look of both of these bikes and have seen both in action, but was wondering about the pro's and cons for both before I sell the Oset. I Would be grateful if anyone has had any experience with either of these bikes or if anyone knows of a nice 2nd hand one up for grabs. Cheers Andy, Notts.

Hi, I just purchased a TXT 50 Boy and installed a 70 cc. kit on it. Does anyone know what jetting to use with this bigger motor? What mods could be made to the transmission to make it more direct in order for the Child to get power sooner and not wait until it revs. up like crazy.
