HAS ANYONE EVER HAD TO REPLACE THE REAR SHOCK ON A BETA? I HAVE A 2001 REV 3 AND WHILE DOING MAINTENANCE ON IT THE OTHER DAY I MADE THE MISTAKE OF UNBOLTING THE LOWER SHOCK MOUNT AND TURNING IT 180 DEGREES. WHEN I DID THIS ALL OF THE OIL DRAINED OUT OF THE SHOCK. i'M TOLD THAT THIS SHOCK IS NOT REBUILDABLE AND HERE IN THE USA A NEW ONE RETAILS FOR OVER 900.00 DOLLARS. THIS IS A VERY ABSURD PRICE FOR A SHOCK WHEN ALL THE OTHER BRANDS SHOCKS ARE UNDER 400.00 WHICH IS ALSO ABSURD. HAS ANYONE EVER TRIED TO REFILL THIS SHOCK AND REUSE IT OR DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ANYWHERE TO GET A BETTER PRICE ON ONE? BETA FACTORY WAS NO HELP AT ALL. THANKS

Hi,thinking of purchasing a evo 2oo 2023 model, does anyone have any thoughts, experience or tips on this model. i will be riding mainly easy/white routes so i don't need to conquer any boulders !?

Just having a look at the Beta website and see they have got two new "special" bits availble for the 07 rev 3 and rev 4t HERE right at the bottom the sticker kit looks very nice for the 4t perhaps? if you haven't already got a nice Radycool set on of course Can't totally figure the handle bar protection jobby out mind? would that sit on the clamps? instead of say a Jitsie type pad that comes with their bars?

Bike did not feel great today bit sluggish but nothing too noticable. Rode around a bit say for 1 hour and then slowed down to stop, changing down in the process. then noticed my bike had turned into a oil waterfall! It seems as if a gear tooth may have flown off and put a hole in the engine case! Should I A)Try and replace the engine case and clutch plates?? B Sell the bike it will cost a fortune? C) cry! Any idea how much a new engine case will cost? Help!

Recently bought a 96 Techno to learn the ropes on and are really enjoying it, one annoying problem is that the revs are hanging and it doesn't close off quick enough ticks over nicely though, just takes a while to come down, annoying half way up a climb as it gets ahead of me. I have checked its air tight around the inlet,someone has suggested it could be the crank seals starting to leak, any advice would be appreciated, also do you have to completely split the cases to change seals or can they be done by removing flywheel etc ? I own a 2007 270 beta, its done very little, I seems to run spot on one day then the next time I try it it seems to run weak on the mixture and start to knock now and again. Ive tried all sorts with the carb, different needle setting / mixture screw etc, Ive just fitted a brand new stator. Can anyone else help here? any idears as its driving me mad! Thanks Jonathan

My sons Beta Rev80 is in need of a new rear shock. I have heard that an early rev250 shock might fit. Does anyone know any more? Are any other bikes shocks the same length/eyelet size as a Rev250? Thanks Dom

I have a 1992 Beta Zero and I am trying to find a front brake master cylinder rebuild kit (or even just the seal) -does anyone know of a supplier? I have tried the UK Importer but am advised the part is obsolete.The cylinder is a Brembo and is marked 10.4773, and the seal measures 10mm.any help would be much appreciated.

Hi all as anyone messed with carb jetting on a 290 evo? what size jets do you recomend and needle clip position & air screw setting? I remember changing jets on my old rev3 mukuni carb and made a big difference!

Hi I'm a TC virgin so be gentle....just picked up an 07 270 Rev 3. Quick check list of consumables compiled (bearings, pads, lubes, etcetera...) and parts overnighted from one of my favourite main dealers. On setting up the swingarm to press out the u/s pivot bearings I noticed a crack full width of the drive side needle bearing knuckle. Didn't take much pressing out; both bearings pretty much fell out with a gentle push. Crack then closed up and was barely visible. No other significant damage or bends visible anywhere else on the swingarm. Has anyone else come across this before? I have considered prepping the crack, tig welding and reaming the knuckle out to toleranc…

Recommended levers for Magura type controls. Ones that last. Why is it that they are such a poor fit in the Magura brake and clutch cylinders?

I have a beta rev 4t 2008, and i need to replace the front brake pistons. But i am struggeling to figure what caliper it is and where to find spare parts. I have tried beta-uk but they say its a g-something brand, but not sure of the model.

So my mate has bought a '16 250 2T evo on ebay,looked spot on and appears good,we noticed the headrace seemed lose so we took a look,the steering column appears to be stuck on the headrace?? and more worringly the outter cup on the top appears to have play against the headstock?? Paid for to a private individual via bank transfer so not sure about returning it,The bike was not viewed prior to purchase and collected by courier...i know i know what you could say but we have bought bikes like this in the past and have always been happy,this is an odd one as I often have had to replace headrace kits when I have bought a bike as I go through everything but I have never had it …

I've got a 2012 beta 80. When I bought the bike, I stripped it down to have a good look and clean up. Now I have the bike back together, it runs but the revs hang on for a few seconds and the throttle response is boggy. Do anyone know the standard settings for this carb? Especially the mixture screw.
