Guys my last post disappeared??? Just though we needed to know this... My dads garage was broken into early hours of this morning - around 01:40 and his 2004 Montesa 315R was stolen by some thieving little ****bags The bike is in very good condition and has a couple of non standard features - Keihin Carb Carbon Fork & Exhaust Protectors Red Solid Billet Cushion Link Aluminum Coil Cover Also the rear mudguard sticker is back to front!! The chassis number is : VTDMT03A04E320948 The engine number is : NN3E851983 The thinking is that the ****bags were quite organised and knew what they were doing. Thieves broke into my garage in Almondsbury, North Bristol on the evening of Monday 11th June 2018 and stole my excellent condition and much loved 2004 Scorpa SY-250. It has dark blue PVC tape on the frame down members and a dent on the rear section of the exhaust outlet. It was fitted with some Trials Control footrests made by Chris Wrigley and I also replaced the rear slotted brake disk with a solid one from a Montesa. The frame number is: 400351 (*VVU6GY*)

Sorry to post this in this forum but i've just had a call from a distraught Alan Whitton who this morning has had his van stolen a white Transit connect LWB reg NC 56 KKN now Alan is less bothered about his van because insurance will sort that out but inside was his Bantam rolling chassis that he had on his stand at Telford show along with some Triumph Tiger Cub heads and various parts. Alan dosent have any photos of the rolling chassis and needs some for the Police so if ANYBODY has any piccys at all of the Bantam frame from Telford show could they please either post them on here or let me have them and i will forward them to Alan. My 1997 Beta Techno 250 was just stolen from my place in Southampton. It was locked up but they somehow got it out. The bike is purple and grey with red fork lowers and gold fork stanchions. Very distinctive and not many around these days. Non standard parts include a purple sprocket, grey renthal grips and a new killswitch near the centre of the bars, not next to the lever. It has no front light and the kickstand is also missing. The bike also has no throttle cable because it had broken so it probably doesn't even start at the moment. I was followed by a white Transit van in the Penrith area on Friday evening (I didn't know they were following me at the time of course). I stopped at Go Outdoors, reversing the back of my van up against the wall so the bike on the rack couldn't be seen, and went in to use the toilet. It was underneath a security camera but it couldn't identify a reg or the men involved. Within 2 mins the bike was gone and bundled in to a van. It was a dark blue Scorpa SY 250 in good condition. I had 3 bikes stolen February 13 and after almost 2 years have managed to recover 1 out of the 3. I won't go into to much detail, but I saw the bike advertised on scumtree, viewed the bike as soon as possible to confirm and then headed to the local nick to report it. The local plod was very disinterested, but I have to credit my local police who have been great, and got the bike back. The chap who had the bike is not believed to be responsible for the theft, but instead had paid hard earned cash to the scumbags which took it. I regularly check auction and sale sites and have key words saved to narrow the results, I identified the bike on the advert from some small feature…

Have just been looking on huddersfield falcons websit and it seems 3 three shercos were taken on 11th feb.If anyone knows the "victims" and could find out whether they've been at tong recently.

Stolen from locked house shed in Scarborough N.Yorks. Bikes chained together with Heavy Duty Oxford chain link locks Thatcham approved. Bikes removed still locked, carried as one. 2 helmets and 2 pairs of boots including a number of oil containers also taken. All other items in shed such as tools, cycles not touched. Targeted theft. Hello All A good friend of mine has had a 07 Beta REV 4 and an 06 Beta REV 3 250 stolen. The 2 bikes were taken from his van , which was parked outside his house in Herne Bay , Kent in the early hours of Friday 7 December . The bikes are normally kept in an alarmed garage but he was having some work done in the garage so he put then in the van to keep them out of the mess. Please give me some feed back here, would it help to have a registry for bikes? Maybe someone could then check at the comps to make sure all the bikes there are legitimately owned, not stolen. I'd be happy to help in any way. I'd do a website for the registry if needed.

A mate of mine had a couple of bikes taken from the Reeth Road area of Richmond last night approx 3.30am the police reckon. The bikes were were last seen in the Skerne park part of Darlington,(According to Police) The bikes were taken from our garage in Richmond. What the police suspect is that they have been ridden from Richmond to Darlington at approx 3:40 (First hearing / sighting) to 4:20am roughly. They were spotted and chased near croft, but took to the fields / off road. Sherco Registration : YJ56 CVN

I received a phone call of a mate of mine on Thursday morning someone tried to have his bike away on Wednesday 17th. He lives in Igleby Barwick (thornaby) they smashed his van window and pushed his van forward to tackle his garage door once they managed to get through the lock on the door the house alarm went off so they left. Both were on the same system luckily. When he rang the police and they eventually turned up they commented on the this was the forth one tonight... and they think its a group from hemlington.. So just a word of warning to the local riders of Middlesbrough / Stockton area.

Unfortunately last night, Wednesday the 16th of November, or in the early hours of this morning, Thurs 17th Nov Splatshop was broken into. 2 Sherco trials bikes were taken from our premises, a 2007 Sherco 290 with 2008 plastics and stickers. (Frame no: VNBS129TR6A018036) and a 2011 Sherco 290 (Frame no: VNBS129TR9A023409). The 2011 has white domino grips and a Red number board with number 184, it look pretty immaculate as we had just got it ready for sale. (sorry no pictures of the 2011). I've had my garage ram raided last sunday afternoon, 2pm! in broad daylight! cheeky *******s. Basically they reversed a small van into the garage doors several times until it came off. They nicked my 2005 Montesa 4rt and 1992 Aprilia Climber, neither are insured, so Im well p****d off. Please look out for idiots trying to sell these bikes, let me know if you hear of anything.
