    Engine braking

I believe that some of the systems to reduce engine braking vent some of the crankcase pressure back into the intake side of the motor. There is info on the internet as there are aftermarket products available for high performance street motorcycles.
  2. There is no GasGas Pro m/y 2001 Perhaps the neutral detent mechanism on your bike is compromised.
  3. Perhaps you have the two hoses on the aux tank mixed up.
  4. front mudguard mount from Montesa 4rt fits, and there are many mudguards that fit to this mount.
  5. I think an LED light would give you lots of light without taxing the magneto too much. I think 55w could be an issue with the magneto lighting windings.

    Bike Swapping ?

    It has never happened!
  7. Surface tension is the problem.
  8. I try to point my toes out slightly ( bowlegged ) and this helps keep your knee on the outside of the turn away from the bike.
  9. These bearings are quite wee, you will need to keep an eye on them. Failure of wheel bearings can be catastrophic.
  10. Gas Gas part number M04015000 Beta part number 1480200000

    Rev 3 Bolt Issue

You can download the Evo 2 stroke shop manual. The kickstart mechanism is nearly identical to the Rev 3. Good luck.
  15. I am guessing that the bikes that had an engine breather tube going into the air box were 4 stroke bikes. On this bike this is a gearbox breather and only needs to be vented to the atmosphere. I like to cut the ends of these breather hoses on the bias.
  16. I believe that the TOP TRIAL TEAM uses these forks on Evos, maybe you can find some good pictures.

    Rain Jacket

Any new design will take some getting use to, give it a few more rides before you make up your mind if it will work for you.
  20. Beta p/n 2915809 000 this is the best fuel line.
  21. You may be able to get away with just cleaning the front brake caliper. Remember that the only things to clean the square section o-rings and pistons are fairy liquid with water ( cold ) and/or brake fluid. Be careful not to lose the wee o-ring between the two caliper halves. You will need to take care that the square section o-rings are seated properly in the caliper before re-installing the pistons and be careful you put the pistons back in true to the caliper bore. GOOD LUCK.
