  1. I believe that guy53 is correct and that the woodruff/flywheel key may be compromised. Pull off the flywheel and check.
  2. You can test to see if you have the lanyard switch wired correctly by doing the following. Disconnect the lanyard switch, hook up 2 wires to where the lanyard was hooked up. Now start the bike, once running short these 2 wires together, the bike should now stop running. If the bike does stop running there is something wrong will the lanyard switch.
  3. Old p/n 2900450 000 was updated to 2900451 000 still used in the modern Beta. thread 16mm x 1.25 thread pitch
  4. rcgods is correct. The item he/she referenced as the " cooling block " is the regulator / rectifier. This item is essential to having the cooling fan work.
  5. Strip some number 18 AWG stranded wire and lay it across the open hex of the stripped bolt. Now take a wee hammer and your allen wrench and tap it in. The soft copper fills in the voids in the head of the stripped hex. This works more often than not .
  6. I think by trial and error you are going to be the expert when it comes to adding weight to the TRS 125 flywheel! Keep us posted.
  7. I would keep using the screen.
  8. I would do the following. 1) Drain the gearbox oil 2) loosen the " major " clutch cover bolts 3) see if the kick start now works properly, if it does there can be two possible issues Issue A the " major " clutch cover bolts were holding the case in a spot that put sideways pressure on the kick start shaft, if this is the case you will only need to re-tighten the " major " clutch cover bolts Issue B there is a shimming problem side to side with the kick start shaft, in this case I think you should take the bike back to your dealer to have this sorted out. DO NOT FORGET TO RE-FILL THE BIKE WITH GEARBOX OIL BEFORE YOU GO RIDING
  9. I think part number HTC48 from rexs-speedshop may be the coil you are looking for. Let us all know if this turns out to be true.
  10. 1991 there is no CDI box 1/2 of the CDI is in the stator and the other 1/2 is in the HT coil.
  11. If this problem just started after you have worked on the bike and this bike has the Dell'orto carb perhaps you have put the floats in upside down.

    Vacuum fuel pump

I believe that some of the newest Sherco's with the rear mounted fuel tanks had some extra " plumbing " . I think that the fuel feed line to the carb had a " T " fitting and the third hose went back into the fuel tank. Hopefully someone else remembers better than I do. Good luck.

    What is this??

This tube and check valve is connected to the exhaust head on the motor side of the catalytic converter that has come with some bikes. I believe the idea is to add fresh air to the exhaust to help promote cleaner air to come out of the exhaust. The check valve is so that exhaust does not come out of this tube.
  17. You guys are correct yellow and tab mount AC in / white connector to the fan / grey connector to the t-stat switch
