  1. There were some Betas that had the ball bearing under the bleed nipple, this set up was stock for some model years.
  2. D/O carb may fit BUT you will have trouble adjusting the idle and the idle mixture. To change to a D/O carb you will need a right hand model. To change airbox you will need to change to the 2 piece rear frame m/y 2002 to 2008 , and also change the r fender to a m / y 2002 to 2006 , as well as the airbox
  3. I think you should use Repsol oil in a " Montesa Repsol " It just makes sense !
  4. fork tube diameter needed , maybe a picture as well
  5. I suspect it is one of the following part numbers, these parts are in the gearbox 007041100 000 or 2773860 000 or 2773870 000 it would appear that the cases will need to be split. Good luck
  6. To fit it would have to be modded quite a bit. Spacing between r disc and r sprocket is not the same between these 2 bikes.
  7. Perhaps p/n 18323-NN4-G10 Protector Exhaust Pipe from the street version may work for you. It looks like Amos Bilbao used this one on his bike at the 2018 SSDT

    Exhaust removel

Ball ended Allen keys work well too.
  9. Try putting the spark plug gap to as little as 4mm , this will may it easier for the ignition to provide a spark. When you poured the petrol into the spark hole , did the bike fire? You said you have cleaned the carburetor , if it is a Dell'orto it is possible you have installed the floats upside down. Check that the high tension spark plug lead is connected to the spark plug cap correctly. If it is a resistor type plug cap , it may be faulty. Good luck.
  10. Beta p/n 3196818 000 for the bolt , the nut is a 6mm jam nut ( it is thin ) .
  11. I have heard that S3 are offering a 5X pant.
  12. This is the built up fork, it comes apart into many pieces. There is not problem fitting these parts to the fork!Since you are in Australia, try contacting `The Hell Team ``.
  13. The bracket from the 1995 Gas Gas will work.
  14. Things to make sure you do when you have the clutch cover off. 1) Make sure you keep track of the shims on both the shift shaft and the kick start shaft. 2) Make sure item 15 is attached tightly to the shift drum , I have seen one of these not tight before. Good luck.
  15. Get the header to cylinder fit proper. Once the fit is proper, some high temp silicone along with the gasket is not the worst idea.
  16. It has happened that the CDI box on this model has failed. This is not common but does sometimes happen. You will have to decide if spending the money on a part that may not be faulty is worth the gamble.
  17. Perhaps this particular bike is one of the ones that needed the offset flywheel key Beta p/n 1246010 000 to get the timing advanced far enough. GOOD LUCK !

    Lighter clutch

Clake One Light Clutch may work for you.
  19. I believe you will have to change the complete primary drive, this will not be cheap.
  20. The best way I have found to deal with the idle screw is to undo it the same way as tapping new threads. Loosen one quarter to one half turn, turn back in one eighth to one quarter turn until it loosens up enough to turn out all the way. I usually put some 2 stroke oil on the threads before putting in a new quick adjust screw in. As for the reed block, there security screws are a pain, on the bright side no one has stolen your reed block. Some of the 2018 Evos also have security screws holding on the exhaust tip, maybe you should change those too.
  21. I believe that I had heard that the piston was from a Suzuki TS 185. Good luck.

    Budget Trials Build

It would appear that you have a TR33 engine not TR32 you will need to find the proper wiring diagram and you will need to use the motoplat CDI box. Good luck.
