Ajp To Bk Master Cylinder Swap
It's the clutch pack thickness not the master cylinder

Entry Fees
When a a bike is £5k and kitting out a rider is say £300 i cant see that the entry fee being between £10 and £20 is really going to be a barrier.

Entry Fees
I think we should have a weekly tc forums entrance fee of £15

Fantic 303
Check the linkage as the bushes used to wear out in a few trials and snapping the linkage was common

Montesa 242. Few Questions
242 was a good bike, not much between one of them and a 240 Fantic. Only problem at the time was when the kick start gear failed dealers struggled to get replacement parts. If you can get parts now it will be a great twin shock bike

Anybody Use A People Carrier?
Could you put a tie down round the spindle and handlebar to compress the forks rather than taking the bars off ?

Scorpa 300 Twenty Taming
Cascao. I did that but on the hidra ignition it doesn't work as the pick up is on the flywheel apparently. Chris from splatshop explained this to me and can probably explain what he meant a lot better than I can

Early Watercooled Mono Class, In Uk?
Ive tried your world remember Ross ☺. Those happy nights in the garage cleaning drums, cramp from pulling the clutch in, praying the kickstart doesn't snap when you kick it over. Is that defined as soul ? Not for me but each to their own.

Early Watercooled Mono Class, In Uk?
Its good to get more participants but the original idea of cheap trials is long gone. People spend ridiculous amounts on pre 65s and Twin Shocks and now its starting to happen in the air cooled mono class. None of this helps the long term future of the sport. Manufacturers cant support young riders as the only people with money to spend are ploughing it into pre 65s and twinshocks. Yes i know they don't depreciate but you are supposed to be enjoying your sport, money isn't everything. Where's the sense in being £10k into a triumph twin or ariel when you could have an infinitely more capable two year old bike for 3k ? Now we are talking about a watercooled class ? Its a mad world, especially trials

Sherco Moving The Fuel Tank Back
Better air flow i would guess, on the new one its almost straight from carb to filter

Scorpa 300 Twenty Taming
If the wheels leaving the ground its not going to help with grip, so I would suggest you put the damping back to standard. Its easy enough to hop the rear end with practice, changing the shock to make this happen will damage your riding in other areas. The shock should also have some sag, there is a good guide to suspension set up if you look at the ohlins shock set up information on the SplatShop site, just click the link for the Ohlins Shock. Get a black tube domino throttle, they aren't ramped but you don't really need it to be on a 300 unless you are an expert.

Scorpa 300 Twenty Taming
I rode one in the summer at my clubs two day. First day was bone dry, really liked the bike. It didn't feel as good as my gas gas but i couldn't honestly have ridden any better in terms of score. Second day it rained and i found as you say it was very difficult to get grip with. Id fit a slow throttle first, then a flywheel weight. The motor builds revs really quickly so i dont think a low compression head will help. A 26mm dellorto carb may be a better bet to slow down the pickup

Gas Gas Fuel Tank Swelling
Was looking at a friend's bike the other day, both of us have 2014 models. My tank has swelled far enough that its now difficult to get the front bolt in. My friends hasn't but he says he always uses super unleaded, i dont but ill try it and see if it shrinks back

1981 Ossa Gripper 250
Hi Stephen Holden were the ossa importer before Quinns and had already started selling the Jubilee model. Basically a standard 250 with Fox shocks, Renthal bars and a white tank and seat unit. The fox shocks were quite an improvement. From memory i think all the later bikes came with telesco forks

Help Broken Tab On Exhaust Mid Pipe W/pics (2010 Txt 250)
If you drop the bike on the exhaust side or run it with the mounting bolts loose you can crack the bracket. I think if you have used washers to change the alignment to stop the exhaust hitting the tyre then the exhaust was already bent. You have to remember that the length of the silencer provides leverage against those brackets. Now its fixed use the proper spacer and it should be fine
