Doesn't Birkett do an improved front brake plate with the lever on the outside. ( that maybe the type you have?)I have one that came with a mono I bought in bits but it has been repaired. Also is the tank on yours a smaller fibreglass one ? I was watching an alluminium one on ebay but it was pulled off yesterday, no doubt had an offer he couldn't refuse.

I am trying to use Google earth and it logs in and drops in to UK and stops and monitor turns off and on and screen is green and icons are large. Tried a few times, also uninstalled then reinstalled and same thing happens. Any ideas ? Thanks in advance.

Hi Lee, I feel for the lad losing his dad so young, I lost my father xmas eve 2 yrs ago and I am 45. What you and others must think of is not just the bike but the commitment. Can mum get to the trials regularly etc etc. Their world will be turned upside down and trials will be the last thing on their minds at present. This may be the thing that makes him grow up quickly, not always a bad thing. When the dust has settled and he thinks he is the new Dougie Lampkin and mum is commited maybe you will see some support. In conversation at a trial recently and I was told they were going water cooled. I know nothing but I know it's not the way to go. There is nothing wrong with a/c .

I have got a 125 and when ever you have the carb apart always check the float height. They can go out easily and will not always run right. Carb needs to be spot on on the Scorpa... On the 125 it is 18mm, not sure if 175 is the same ??

Is there any point in joining an AMCA club, does it cover you for anything when riding AMCA events. Obviously with the ACU it enables you to obtain a licence etc. It is a rare occasion that I do AMCA events, but I did one a couple of weeks ago and could not remember if my membership had lapsed. It seems to be 90 % ACU nowadays. Thanks in advance.

I was after the same info for my 125, no replies though. Some folk throw teddies over the a/c mono debate and the Scorpa. I usually find after they watch me through a couple of sections they realise there is nothing to crow about with this bloke.

Any chance of posting a picture, sounds interesting.

Does it have to be a later mono system or will any one do the job. I picked up a 85 mono in bits for the forks and f wheel for the Majesty. I would fit the ignition as well if possible.

Does anyone know what quantity of fork oil is needed in the 125 4t. it's the Tys with cable clutch. Is there anything special about the seals or are they just off the shelf seals from a seal supplier. It is an 04 model. Thanks in advance....

Condition matters not mileage, take miles on a trials bike with a pinch of salt. I have a 125 and they are a cracking bike. Low maintenance being the key and I have a few bikes and the Scorpa is the one that is staying here. If it was sold it would be replaced with another, maybe 175 but probably not. I will be at Golden Valley trial tomorrow (Sat) with a mate on one as well and maybe one or two more. They are cracking bikes, go for it.........

Don't go there. Another hundred quid will buy a early TY 250 Mono. Can't go wrong. Maybe a 175 ty another safe bet. Leave the RTX alone FFS.

Unbelievable how long it all goes on and how much money is wasted in the process. Just think what that money could have been used for.The UK was heading for a recession no doubt but what happened in the USA dragged us down big time. Lets hope the new bloke can walk the walk as well as he talks the talk. I bet they don't cover our elections for 1% of the time we covered theirs. Unbelieveable, glad it is over.
