This was a clip from the Colorado National, notice Marc Frexia is checking out my line as I pass him.

Hmm. I just set the ITSA national with a bunch of old dudes from Tennessee driving from Tennessee to New Mexico. You might ask Dustin if we actually ride. In fact let me know when you actually ride an NATC national and I`ll be obliged to see you in person. Another guy riding vintage that never could ride?
The Tennessee guys are in blue on the right. P. S. I frequently work on 3 2016 4 RT`s sure the foot peg position is better, but same answer. ( I did buy two rear fenders last week for 24 dollars each, so that was a positive) Like I said, not for me. Or I`ll be scoring the World Round in Arizona next year, just saying.

At our vintage event this weekend a gentlemen built a complete frame around this engine. Tank in the frame tube, falcon shocks, tl front end and xr wheels and brakes. Wish I had taken a picture now. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Piranha-140cc-Pit-Bike-Engine-crf50-atc70-crf-50-70-atc-/390887546230 I rode it shortly after helping with a slight repair that got him through the weekend. I was actually impressed by the power of such an affordable build. I think it would have been a fun project and an easy to adapt to bike to ride in a short distance trials.

It`s over! 2016 is in the books, but we already booked it again for 2017! We had a record 44 riders for our club. Hope to be even a better event next year!

My opinion and view only. When the 4RT came out in 2005 I rode one for about fifteen minutes and that was enough for me . Not for me. I rode a trials today with the guy that had bought that 4RT. He has had 8 new Beta`s since then. And I know at least a dozen people with the same story. Been there done that. The Montesa is a wonderfully engineered bike, just not everyone`s cup of tea.
-
Jim will be kind, but you should not buy A Pro model till the `04 to `05. I`d be more inclined to move.
-
Actually the Keihin is easier than the models with a Del Orto. It takes just the right twist of the inlet manifold. I spray the inlet with a good coat of lubricant first. Good luck. I certainly was not happy the first time either.

Standard pegs and mounts are the best. This is why. http://www.trialscentral.com/forums/topic/61009-montesa-4rt-frame-snap/#entry431193

It is probably just the clutch, which all the Pro`s do it. Does it go away with the clutch pulled in?
-
I always used ATF in Beta`s.

Location, location,location.

It needs a M/C rebuild kit. The seal is bad.
-
On a 2014, a good hard run to burn up the remaining oil in the exhaust is all that should be needed. Besides the standard replacing of the packing. You might do more harm than good otherwise. Nothing worse than having midpipe packing slowly coming apart and clogging the rest of the pipe.
-
If you have a `14 the packing should just pull out the back after removing the tip.
-
Run the kill button wire into the black wire going to the coil.
-
Coolant for aluminum blocks ok. The fan is worn, lubing won`t help. Make sure the thermo is bypassed and you can push start it with your fingers. Most fans will fit it. It should take closer to 300 ml, but I cannot remember exact amount. A bit of piston slap is most of it.
-
Probably just the wrong bushings on the shock, but as above a little grinding will do. You might try the bushings off the other shock.
-
Arnoux is correct. Lube it, then hit the back portion of the key and the front will pop right out!

This has several threads. http://www.trialscentral.com/forums/topic/60870-new-to-me-1986-tlr200/There is no magical cheap carb fix. Several sites in the UK claim to have pre jetted carbs. The best fix is to properly jet the stock carb as both links have that info. The stock carb is lean on both the main and pilot.

The best sounding bike ever was a XR750 flat tracker. My roommate just happened to leave his for about 6 months while out of state. The neighbors would be annoyed around midnight about once a month, no lights, no front brake and fast as hell. Nothing like a full field of Harley`s running around a mile dirt track!

I am not surprised they were missing. People were stealing the old AJP`s off everything when the new bikes came out with the Formula`s and the first batch of Brak Tech master cylinders. Good luck on the pet cock.

Fantics have been around forever. You would have to post location to get real help.
