Lights - if you fit them they have to be fully road legal - dipping headlight, brake lights, E numbers on lens & all that guff.
I one rigged up a cycle rear led as I was concerned about that main road in the rain......
Same weather at the March Hare for a while, but we were on the back roads so manageable, but blooming freezing.

IRCs.....are no probs on my 09 GG, but it seems newer wheels (2010 on) can give slip-off issues.

More bad news from: My name is Alan Aslett and I am the Vice Chairman of Worthing Trials Club. I hope you do not mind me contacting you in this way.
On the 15/16th December my out building was broken into and mine and my sons competition trials bikes were taken. I am passing these details to you and would very much appreciate if you would kindly alert your members or anyone you feel may be able to help or at risk of being offered these bikes. My number is 07973 71 31 91. These bikes were stolen from Dormansland, Surrey RH7.
My sons bike was 1 of only 2 in the country -

Measure reserve, is it going on reserve early?
Jetting, air filter, engine condition, and riding style are a factor.
My 300 is good on juice. Nearly rode 2 clubs trials on one tank full recently.

1mm - 1.5 would be about std. more for softer engine. Less for more go..

Gassers are supplied non homogenised. Easy to UK reg as Trials & Enduro bikes have exemption from SVA test & Euro Certificate of Conformity. I've had no probs getting insurance for these bikes, Never been asked about this issue. You can order Euro spec GG but cost extra for a box of bits that you'll never use....hang on, a few years ago that's how they arrived. Pretty sure the other UK importers bikes are in the spec.

It should be the best decision the SE centre has made, however it's now down the the Clerk of the Course to define/refine what can be ridden non-stop.
There will always be lenient observers and also those that observe to the letter of the law. All the rider has to do is make sure you keep moving, simple really! I heard a rumour the Brit Champs are going this way too.....
