Is it the vivaro and trafic are exactly the same and the Nissan Primastar is a different engine/ box. I am looking at maybe buying a Trafic/ Vivaro due to the low load height I will want to load large road bikes as well. Anything I should look for or avoid. Thanks in advance.

Hi Has anyone tried putting 2 trials bikes in the back of Vito compact dualiner? Can you get away with folding the seats forward and taking the single one out? Or do you need to remove all three seats or go for the long wheelbase? Cheers Smudger

  3. Hi Got a 2013 Vito Dualiner LWB with standard rear seats. Currently have to remove the seats when putting the bikes in which is a bit of a faff. Looking at a set of upgraded rear seats that fold fully in the hope I could replace mine. Asked the guy to measure from back of folded seat to the closed tailgate inside the van. Measurement I got was 74-75" from the seller. When I measured my Gas Gas I'm getting 77" so my question is has anyone got a LWB Vito Dualiner with the folding sports seats? If so can you fold the seats and get 2 bikes in the back?? My thinking is I probably could - bike in front ways and turn steering towards side doors or even deflat…

I'm thinking of getting a van, but not sure what to go for. I want six seats (two rows of three), but don't want anything massive. A Vito Dualiner looks good (and has passenger doors on both sides which is a bonus) or a Transporter Kombi - both SWB. Any views on either of these? Or a better alternative? Ta!

I remember reading on here once that you could get 2 bikes in the back of a caddy (not the pick up, or brand new one). Someone said you take the mudguard off one, and put one facing one way and one the other. Can't make mine fit. Any tips, do you put them diagnol? Thanks Dave

I no this has been asked before but I just want to clarify, how does a trials bike sit in a caddy van, approx. 09. I have a lwb transit which is great but after a little runner to go to my local practise area etc. I see a picture on here of a beta in one and you could have easily got a second in it but unsure if that was just a standard caddy or maxi. oh and I have a 4rt don't no if they are any difference in length? cheers guys

Hi, Ive purchase an old mk1 Caddy Pickup as a run about and to put my trials bike in the back. rather than just strapping it down, in the past I seen some brackets that bolted to the back of your pick up and clamped the front wheels in. Does anyone know where to buy these or is anybody using them??? Photos of your set up would be a bonus

Hi there I know this has been covered before, but just to check ! I currently use a Nissan NV 200 and can get 2 bikes in no problem. I fancy a VW caddy, but the short wheelbase. I’ve measured, and it seems very tight (may not fit) - but I have read that you can get 2 trials bikes in. Does anyone have an actual experience and hopefully pictures ? I would plan on taking the bulkhead out anyway. I would be looking at something like a 2015 to 2018. hopefully someone can help ! cheers John

Hi, Does any know if a trials bike will fit in a SWB VW Transporter T5 / 6 Kombi (i.e with 2 rows of seats) with the VW ABS plastic (Motexion) Bulkhead fitted behind the rear seats? Got a T5 just now and a single bike fits ok diagonally without the bulkhead, but can't find any info on the load space with one fitted. Thanks in advance for any info provided.

basically I have a mercedes vito which is doing around 30mpg because i use it as my car back and for work, want something more economical. And of course has to fit a trials bike or two in The vauxhall combo seems to be a good economical van doing around 50-60mpg, Transit connect possibly lpg as the diesel ones dont seem to good on fuel Would like a vivaro but think it wil be equally poor on fuel Berlingo ? I am warming to the car type version any advice etc would be good Cheers Chris
