Lane, Mich, The Beave, (That bugger has more aliases than that cute little girl on that show) keeps talking about all these senior "works" riders so ask you national champion senior folks what does your factory ride get you? Free bikes? Free parts? Free clothes? Gas money to the events? I know none of that, but what do ya get a small percentage off stuff maybe you tell us. Ron what do you give your senior "works" riders? No Jive Clive what do you get? I think Lane, Mich, The Beave is overestimating this a little bit. Oh and Johnny Ringo I am watching you

We now have the T-Shirts ready for sale. These are high quality SWM-NATC T-shirts (Speacialty Welding Machine). All of the proceeds go to sending our USA riders to the TDN. These riders usually have to pay most of their way to represent us. We are trying to off set some of their cost by t-shirt sales and donations. For $20 dollars this includes shipping we will send you a shirt. If you are one of the first 10 people to order a shirt I will throw in a DVD for FREE. Sorry I could not put up a picture of the shirt but they do like nice. Let us know what size shirt you need. If you can order more than one shirt we can give better pricing. If your club can buy several shir…

Well, I'll let the cat out of the bag. Anyone who attends Ohio this weekend will be in for a treat. Patrick is giving EnduroCross a shot. In fact, they'll be so many Smages on the line, Ryan Young won't know which is which. Get your tickets now! It should be on heck of a show.

Some of us may travel as much as 3000 miles to reach an event, so read this! A pretty simple plan to take the power back. I'm in. Read on....Subject: GAS WAR! Join the resistance!!!! I hear we are going to hit close to $3.00 a gallon by the summer. Want gasoline prices to come down? We need to take some intelligent, united action. Phillip Hollsworth, offered this good idea: This makes MUCH MORE SENSE than the "don't buy gas on a certain day" campaign that was going around last April or May! The oil companies just laughed at that because they knew we wouldn't continue to "hurt" ourselves by refusing to buy gas. It was more of an inconvenience to us than it was a…

Looking back the last couple of years there is hardly any talk any moreabout trials. Very little about upcoming events nationals ect Trials comp is gone Mctrials is dead and this forum seems to have the political crap and bull that Lane used to put out without a lot of trials imput. Im not against tring to be funny but what happened to talking about trials. Next question do trials forums help the sport or hurt it? If it hurts it what can be done to change that?

So Lane, reading the Dirt bike mag from November 76, paying attention to the report of the Wagner cup written by you good bud Len Weed. Few mentions about you, [Q] Lane Leavitt took ninth, was third best American, and won the best pants award, runner up was Mick Andrews with his pattern sport trousers and John Metcalf in solid purple.] [Q] Lane Leavitt reported that Birkett and Andrews tried to put the "turkey bite" on him. Saying things like: ho, I'm so tired and it's only the sixth section. And pointing out a line as the line and then riding another one] Sounds like you were a whiny bugger back then also : rolleyes: Another blurb that made me laugh a bit about the …

  10. It's gotta be great to be a Putt!!! First you land on this months Cover of the AMA magazine then you have a great debut weekend in Texas! Wow... just wow. While setting up our event this weekend we up here in Michigan were glued to the NATC website. Andrew was in 2nd place in his first loop Saturday and ended up third but just barely by 3 points! I bet he can taste section 2, 8 or 12 Saturday all of which had cleans or 5's. With his learning curve I am willing to bet that those mistakes are already ancient history. Well done young man! Sunday looks like a silly 5 on last loop knocked him to 4th but that's really really awesome considering this young man j…

After hearing about Eric Storz's accident I've been rethinking my opinion of a full face helmet for trials. I'm mostly concerned about my young nephew who is just starting out in the sport. I saw Eric and some other young riders wearing full face helmets in competition this year but I never thought to find out what kind they were. Does anyone know or have any opinion on this subject?

Evel Knievel, the hard-living daredevil whose famous jumps over Greyhound buses, live sharks and Idaho's Snake River Canyon, which made him an international icon in the 1970s, died today. He was 69. I had a chance to meet Evel a few times, as he had family in Chicago. To say this man could party-hard is a understatement. Many are probably surprised he was even still alive. RIP Evel, you were one crazy dude.

To help bring Alan and others up to speed on the NATC proposals to revamp the nationals and enlarge the US Pro class, here's a thumbnail blueprint of that proposal. Expert Sportsmen, Expert and Pro would be combined into one large class. Creating a much larger gene pool for the pros and more competition. Pro sections would be a mix of 1/3 Expert Sportsmen level sections, 1/3 Expert sections and 1/3 Pro levels sections for the morning qualifier. Contested with the Sportsmen event like now with the splits for the Pros, the biggest change would be the need for only two lines in the sections instead of three like we use now. Which gives the organizers a little bit of…

I dont know what you guys thought of the nationals, I want some of you guy's that showed up, opinions. What about the rest of us? Unlike Michlin wants to think or make it out to be, Trials is an AMATURE sport in the USA... remember, Motocross used to be the same, so maybe in the future it will happen to trials... but right now admit it, trials is AMATURE sport. Reason I bring this up? well... I just wonder what you other "clubmen" think? Right now, the biggest class at most of our clubs here in the middle USA,(meaning the most riders drawn to show up and compete MONTHY, not the once a friggin year crowd) is Amature, Intermediat, and Sr expert (on that list we all …
