Just bought a new sticker kit for my bike and I am having a bit of difficulty seeing how I can apply them to the seat unit without creases etc. The tank and rear mudguard will be fine as they are quite flat, its just the seat unit that has compound curves. Do you stretch them with the aid of a hot air gun or hair dryer or do you have to cut them? Thanks in advance, any tips would be appreciated.

Hi, I am thinking that I should really carry out a full service on my 2006 model GG125, It's not had one since I bought it over the winter period and I'd really like to get amongst it and make sure everything is clean, lubed properly and is at the correct setting. My question is, are there any service manuals/publications out there in the public domain that give a guide on oil quantity, oil and lubrication types and torque settings etc? Also, where is the best place to purchase all the service items? (Oils, air filter etc) I don't really have a local shop any more and I haven't the option of booking it somewhere to get done (literally) so mail order or internet shoppi…

hi! my step son has a 2004 gas gas txt 80 rookie. I am trying to get a little more bottom end power out of it. the bike runs really well and pulls like a train at full revs. This ok but steep hills have to be attacked in first gear flat out.. I have read the other posts about the carb mods. The carb slide is all ready modified. I was thinking about changing the front sprocket from a 12 tooth to a 11 tooth has anyone given this a try before and was it any better? thanks!!

Hey, All!!! I apologize if this has already been covered. I did a "SEARCH" using terms like "clutch removal" & "removing clutch", and basically struck out. Here's my problem: I'm trying to remove the clutch on my 2010 280 Pro model. I'm to the point where I need to remove the 4mm allen bolt in the center of the clutch. The bolt on my bike appears to be "stripped", and at the least, is VERY shallow. The once 6-sided hole of that allen bolt is now more or less rounded, from what I can see. I probably was the one that did this. The hex key I have that is long enough to reach down to that bolt is one with a "ball end" on one end, and that's the end I tried to use, bef…

Just bought a 2011 txt 300 with less than 20 hours of use and it starts fine cold, but not when it's hot. I can bump start it and it runs fine. I have read some posts suggesting a spacer on the head and bigger jets. I have not changed the plug or anything yet. I'd like to start with the easy fixes first... Thanks!

Hi all. BIke is 300 Raga 06, my problem is - i have not sharp jerk/pull, when dropping a clutch lever. So i can't do precise jumps, jap-zaps especially, because wheel is just riding, not jumping quickly. All appears like when clutch plates are worn and slipping. But clutch basket is in required measurement and i can pull a wheelie even in 5th gear without clutch help, just suspension and throttle. And lever's pull did not became light, like when thin clutch basket. I'm using oils: ATF Dexron3, Motul Transoil 10W30, Ipone Box2. All fells the same, i mean weak bike's jerk on dropping a clutch, but it was really good last year with ATF and Transoil. I had a coolant leak into…

I'm told that an oil change on the late model Marzocchi's (mine are 2014) isn't as simple as the Tech forks where you basically just drain and refill. Is it a case of needing special tools, or... ?

It looks to me like the top triple on the new model has a different design, namely a pinch bolt rather than a set screw. Can anyone confirm, and any thoughts on whether it helps at all with the constant stem adjustments needed on the GG?

Pulled the engine apart on a jtr 270 gasgas today to replace the mains and big end. Someone has filled the crank holes with corks and im not sure why?? Also it looks like has a third piston ring groove but no ring. I know its an old bike from 96 but worth saving as its still in good condition. Anyone shed any light?

I'm thinking hard about going from a 03 Mont to a 04 280 PRO, would this be a good year to go with, did they sort out PRO problems? I rode a 03 PRO 280 once and the machine seemed very light and nimble! Maybe 15lbs. lighter than the Mont. So, I may pick up a Pro this fall because they are plentiful right now, and it will be my first gasser. suggetions would be appreciated. sam

planning on replacing my 11 year old sons 03 200 pro with either low houred 04 200 pro new left over 05 200 pro or new 06 200 pro. Is there much advantadge to 05 06. The way i understand it the 06 has 40mm marz forks without aluminum tubes my son weighs 90 lbs. The old forks are a little lighter however i have had fork seal problems with them. Any one had any experiences performance wise with 03 compared to 04 05 06. btw The 03 has been a very dependable bike replacing only the fork seals and a few broken levers.

As the title suggests, does operating the Map switch make a difference to the power delivery in either mode ? The terminal is broken on one side of mine ( just bought the bike) and the bike is in bits at the moment so i haven't used it. All the sheathing has gone brittle as hell on all the wiring so i'm thinking of stripping the loom and rebuilding it as some of the terminals and wire are crispy too. The bike is a 2013 TXT R Pro. Has anyone else come across this? What was your fix ? Regards Dave
