    Pastrana

    Roll cage, helmet, neck brace, reinforced steel chassis, looks fairly safe compared to this; He must be getting old.
  2. Carried this out when you first came up with it a while back, it works. Very clear instructions and well explained. Clutch AND carb OCD, what next?
  3. Yes it's normal. Distinguishing feature of the 270.
  4. When you have finished all of that, leave them on their sides like when they arrived in the box, otherwise they sag forward from the ankle area. Also, observers love riders who wear white boots, makes it much easier to see when you put your feet down (unless it is snowing)
  5. Only put enough fuel in for what you need. If you return to the start area after each lap, only put enough fuel in for one lap. Take the side stand off. If you ride when it is muddy, scrape off the excess mud between sections or whenever it starts to build up.

    Racing Triple Clamp

    Any height adjustment with them? If so, how much?
  7. You can access the clamp nearest the airbox from the side by positioning said clamp so that it faces the triangular cut out on the frame just above where the rear brake assembly bolts to the frame. Put your hand underneath to hold the clamp as it is loosened to stop it rotating away from your screwdriver. The other clamp nearest the carb can then be loosened and the airbox to carb rubber boot slid back towards the airbox and clear of the rear of the carb. Squirt a bit of WD40 (other lubricants are available) on the joint betwixt airbox and boot to aid slideage.
  8. Mine does that too when going down steep hills. Keep the throttle open a bit on the down hill, clear it out before the descent and again when you reach the bottom of the hill. Some bikes seem to just pop pop pop down on tickover with no problems. I'm sure someone will be able to explain why.
  9. What, no back flip? Lazy students.
  10. Bumbags, overalls, trials wellies and helmets that didn't cover your ears, petrol tanks that took a gallon of fuel. Aye them were the days............

  12. Clicky linky Don't blame me if it snows.
  13. If it was a drinking contest, my money would be on George Best. If it was a fight outside a nightclub, my money would be on John Terry. Followed by floods of tears.
  14. And they say Hitchcock is the master of suspense. Good luck for Sunday, hope you've sorted it this time but would be nice to know what caused it.
  15. Kevin Turvey?, no it's Rick. Here's the first bit of that clip; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qu_2likGlok For those of you brought up on Playstation and X-box, who spend your lives on Myface and Spacebook, spending all your money on glow sticks, the guy in the pub is that bloke off The Young Ones. Copemech will like the Alamo joke.
  16. That classic scene http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0z-4EbDucvI
  17. Have you seen "An American Werewolf in London"? The bit where they go into the pub, The Slaughtered Lamb. That should give you some idea.
  18. Just remove it. No problem with the gap being there.
  19. Which is better, Clake or conventional cluth lever and rear brake? There's only one way to find out;
