Hi all know this will open up a can of worms, at the minute I’m on a 17 Beta factory 300 and fancy something different (had Beta for a long time) thinking trrs or a 4rt, know there’s a big difference! The trrs are they a bike that’s set up and don’t have to mess about adjusting carb all the time and run spot on, I’ve been told 250 are a good bike, I’ve had 300s for years so not sure what cc ? I’m a good clubman and do nationals and road trials 4rt will the weight be a issue whilst riding and will it Be to bigger change ? Ridden a few and like them

Aware that there are rules and regulations that the police have to enforce and teetering on the edge of actually following some I thought I’d make a possibly almost legal registration number plate. Not just another bolt on item just waiting to slice into a leg or rip your manhood off! This was to be a retractable marvel. Photos attached, the grey mud flap was fitted because as usual the plastic mudguards are too short, so aesthetics meant a mod. The flap is very flexible, and there is a Velcro pad at the bottom. just wanted to ask opions on weather it is worth your time and bother to restore old fibe glass tanks. or maybe bin them if have to be patched again and again , just a real shame this has probably been kicking around scince the 70s

Fitted All balls Fork seals and they started leaking after only being fitted for a month. Thinking it was the cheap seals I decided to splash out and get a set of skf seals and dust covers. Anyway, first ride out and I notice the dreaded Weeping again ? upon close inspection I have a little scratch in the stanchion it’s really small but you can feel it if you rub your nail across it! Is there anyway to do a diy repair? I tried a bit of nail vanish on it but hasn’t worked although I was impatient and only left it an hour or so. Anyone got any tips for a solution without replacing? Thanks!

If there is such a thing, I feel I should nominate myself! .... Just getting my bike ready for trial this Sunday (should have done all this after last time, I know) - quick clean, changed filter, checked fluids, pumped up leaky rear, filled up fuel...all the usual stuff, then thought I'd just start it up. Nothing!...I tried choke in, choke out, not a chance. Took plug out and checked/cleaned it, still no joy. Cleaned out carb...Then I spotted the problem... no lanyard fitted! Derrr. Two kicks and a massive blue cloud later it was running sweetly! I guess it's the simple things sometimes!

I need a replacement rectifier for an older Scorpa that, as yet, I haven't been able to source through Scorpa sources. It is the little black box plugged into the fan that most of us have seen on Trials bikes. It is marked Leonelli with a number 1210 stamped into it. I can't find any reference to it on the internet and Leonelli seems to have no presence here in the USA for me to contact. Can anyone suggest where I can find this part or get specs for it so I can replace it with something else? I don't know, for example, if it also regulates voltage or has any other functions.

I'm p****d off with trying to bleed brakes on my bikes. Is there a device available to buy to reverse bleed the system?

Can someone please tell me if the Beta rev3 wheels require an inner tube or tubeless and is it doable at home or best take to garage. Also would the leak spay stuff work. thanks

I’m think about getting a new bike and find lots of articales talking about all the changes in various bikes but no comairisons. Any other type of bike they will do shootouts and comparisons talking about the good and bad points of the bikes but I can’t find anything like that for trials bikes. Anyone know of a publication that does those sort of things? Thanks.

After visiting Comprodon the other weekend to watch the Trial GP, Jamie Busto was very impressive and full of fire on the GasGas. He is the man to watch this year and I'm sure he will give Mr Bou something to think about.

Hi, I'm running a trial this evening up here in Jockland. Anyway I've been informed that some sort of Football/kick about is taking place at this time ? I can't have this affecting the entry! Anyone know about this and can there date be changed?

Hi guys. Im looking for a new rear tyre fur my monty 4ride..its fitted with a dunlop 803.i like the tyre. But use the bike mainly fur trails n roads..do do actual trials..its great grip on the road (soft) knoblles are ripping themselfs off especialy in the middle run 10psi but ave been lookin at a mitas e01 anyone used this. Or any recomendations of a decent all rounder..

Ive recently serviced my bike and noticed the spark plug was quite wet and oily , I’ve put a new plug in and rode it this morning for 3 hours the bike runs , pulls and starts with no issues i inspected the plug and again it was oily , the carb was recently cleaned and set up by a reputable shop ! I’m not sure what to do as like I say the bike seems to be running with no issues although it does smoke when you give it a handful , it’s a 2015 2t and been well looked after could it maybe running rich ??? Any advice as to what’s going on would be much appreciated.

With Russia not a big player in the world Trials GP scene what country/team would take the honors of the most using performance enhancing drugs If testing was undertaken looking for performance enhancement drugs how would the world trials GP scene change? Things that make you go mmmmm

Hi, me again. So after lots of research and being lucky enough to ride a Montesa 4rt in the wet and and dry I have now narrowed myself down to 2 bikes that I am looking to purchase.I am look at either a 2018 Factory 250 Sherco or a 2018 TRS RR 250. I would really like to hear you thoughts and opinions on both as after reading loads of threads on this forum they both seem to get good reviews.
