Hi all, just wondering if anyone knows why the left hand fork appears to come higher out of the top of the yokes than the right? And if not, should they be level?

I'm about 220lbs and an intermediate rider. I have a 2018 TRS 300RR. I'm trying to learn hopping my bike but having a hard time. My suspension rebound is set quite dampened which suits the West coast of Canada where the mountain climbs are long, steep and rooty. When I jump down hard and compress the suspension i find it doesn't spring back fast enough to elevate the wheels off the ground. Is this normal? Even when i compress and pull up hard the tires barely come off ground . Should i make the forks and ring coil more "springy". Any suggestions and methods appreciated.

Was at a trial today and the topic of youth trials and training came up, My feeling is to much effort is put into the youth riders training days half price enterys etc .Theres source of riders the new adults are just forgot about, its all about the youth and before you say "we need the youth for the future of the sport" .Think on this if they are youths now, how long before they can do the running of clubs and trials ? What we need is people NOW not in 10-15years time so is the youth really the future of the sport or is it the new adult riders ? and how long will adults be happy to off set the cost of someones child adults £15 youth £5

The Beta UK SSDT guide recommends sealing rim strips with sikoflex or tiger seal. I have never seen this stuff but have a very slow leak am thinking about giving it a try. Has anyone down this? Is there just on version of sikoflex and tiger seal? Is it easy to clean off for removal?

Well I’ve very much enjoyed Trials Central as both a resource for useful information and expanding my knowledge base. The various banter between like minded individuals and groups has been challenging, heartwarming, hilarious and at times worrying?...say no more! But I need to take a new direction...no I haven’t joined a boy band....my recent and sudden illness of the physical kind ( get in first with that before oni nou touches on brainy stuff)?has made me think about other things rather than the all encompassing world of trials which has been my passion as a bike dealer, rider and enthusiast. So I will sign out for now, concentrating on other influences that need …

Having recently moved i am in the sad predicament of living in an area bereft of ClassicTrials clubs and venues. Yes i know i should have thought about that earlier but in my own defense all my life i have NEVER had to travel more than 40 mins to an event every weekend and because there is so much incredible terrain around here, close to Aberystwith, i just stupidly assumed there would be loads of trials taking advantage of it. So it's about a 2 and a half hour drive each way to my nearest Classic club so i find myself having to consider riding at a "modern" club and dont fancy trashing my Classic bikes. I have wondered about buying a modern bike, very limited budge…

I’m trying to identify an imperial bolt and was wondering if someone could tell me what the upper section of the bolt with no thread on is called? Is it different to a normal fully threaded bolt, ie all the way to the head? ive got the length / diameter / tpi sorted, just need one with the thread cut to the right length on the body of the bolt. Thanks Boner.

" Fully synthetic is fine for modern motors, not for our 50 year old ones. I think I have tried most, but have settled on Lucas semi sync. At around 32 to 1, that is 187 cc to 6 litres of fuel. I may be right, or wrong, but my motors run just fine at that. " This statement was posted in another forum, I asked for some evidence, or even a hair brained explanation, nothing !! I'm not sure the o p actually rides at all, who mixes up 6 litres of 2 stroke ? Is that overfilling a 5L can, or part filling a 10L can ? Anybody care to comment ?

Have any of you guys tried contacting this site? I have sent 2 emails and received a standard generic reply saying your enquiry has been successfully submitted and will be processed as soon as possible. Is it that they are just so busy or cant be a***d?

What is a good way of physically securing a modern trials bike. Enduro bikes can be chained through the frame but I can't see a way of doing that with a trials bike. It looks like you could chain it up but it would be easy to unbolt forks or wheels to remove the chain. Even if you removed both wheels, they are so light that a single man could just carry it off. Short of keeping it in a cage, I can't see how you can secure the bike within a locked garage. Any ideas?
