hi new back to trials at the moment just going to do some praticing but later will do a few events starting easy route and work my way up but will need a new set of tyres x11 seem ott but im sure worth it are the mitas any good as a pair are only just over £100 use to use mt43 and liked those

looking for an hour meter for my new bike. Ive never had one before, but fancy the ones with the tacho read out. As with most electronics, im sure there is good and bad out there.....so whats good? Any recommendations on which make to go for please?

Been looking st a few aluminium fuel 1ltr fuel cans... what does everybody use when out and about as emergency fuel can? Obviously you can’t carry a big van, just thinking of a top up for when out on the trail.

Iv been thinking lately iv always bought the most poweful trails on offer which i can ride quite happily but if i dropped to a 125cc would my skills for flicking it about and tricks improve or is there no difference really for that stuff i am 15 and a half stone anyone tried it

Hello all. Long time listener, first time caller. Great place you have here. Have been going crazy looking to upgrade my 8 year old from a clutchless 50cc Beta Minitrial to something with a clutch and more than two gears... but not an adult sized bike. Any ideas? I'm having trouble making heads/tails of models like "Cadet, Rookie, Boy" etc as I cannot find any real info/specs on bike/frame/tire size on the official websites. Unfortunately I'm not in an area with a lot of trials motorcycles or I'd go out and have a look myself. Does the black tube and white tube share the same housing? The nice fella I bought my bike from fitted the slow tube, and also gave me the fast tube with the bike. Id like to fit the fast, but wonder if I can just swap tubes and not the whole works. This is a Domino FWIW Thanks!

Just looking through the various threads and there's SO many on tyres, mainly on opinion of what's best? So I thought I'd start another ??? But standing back and looking at the subject from a different angle maybe(?), current situation is that there's only two serious, worthwhile competitive options for rear tyres anyway, Michelin and Dunlop and that's the way it's been for a good while. Both retail at well over £120 a time and it's mainly down to how much you can haggle your dealer down to for the best price. A week after a -40 degree Celsius cold snap on the prairies in Canada, the Moto Trials Group of Alberta (check us out on Facebook) hosted a great two day event. Horse riding arenas make great trials venues during a cold Canadian winter.

Hi everyone so Iv been on a beta evo 125 for quite a few years now and I’m looking to move on to a 250. I was thinking a beta 250 because I have been told it has the softest power delivery? But does anyone have any other suggestions? Like what is the the new trs like? Does it trump the beta?

I'm new here so sorry if this is the wrong place for this thread. As the title states, I'm looking for a new trails bike. I previously had a '10 GG 300 Raga. It was okay but was well used and had problems. I'm looking to get as new as possible now (what makes the most financial sense). So I've narrowed it down to a new Sherco. I've ridden the '18 300 fst and it was great. There's a dealer with a '17 250fst and a private seller with a '19 300fst. I'm a newish rider and am still mastering the basics. I went to change my gearbox oil and noticed I’d bought dexron2 atf mineral, Is there a difference between dexron2 or dexron2 mineral or is it all mineral oil. I’m just wary it knackers the seals. Many thanks in advance folks

Hi! I am getting back into trials bike and i would like to know what you guys think about these bikes. I found a Beta rev3 270 2008 for 3200 $ CND and a Montesa Cota 4rt 250 2008 for 4100 $ CND they both are in pretty good shape, but they were not ridden a lot in the past couple years. No much signs of corrosion, mostly normal use scratches. Do you think it's worth the money, or I should put a little more for a newer bike, like a 2016 Vertigo combat 300cc for 5000 CND Thanks a lot for your advices! JF

I’m repacking the muffler on my Beta Rev 3, and I need to replace two O rings. This is my first time doing this, so I’m not sure if I need specialised, heat resistant O rings or can I use the common ones from the local home centre? I asked at the local home centre but they didn’t know. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I'd like to know if trial bike with lithium batteries have also problem in winter with starting? Currently have sherco enduro 300se and in cold weather need to push button like 4-5 times... and restarting later also takes 2-3 times sometimes.

Hi, is it permissible for an over 50 rider to ride in the clubman group for instance as an alternative to 0/50 clubman route? would it be possible to ride in a club or national championship doing this? Thanks in anticipation.
