Hi all is the jitsie stuff better than original i keep seeing jitsie wheels and parts and just about everything you can buy is it that much different from manufacturers

I've been running twinshocks and Pre 65 all my life but have recently bought a 270 Rev 3 and upon investigation the rim is corroded on the inside, not as bad as a twinshock Honda or Air cooled Yamaha if you know what i mean, around all the spoke nipples and i think this is why it kept going down. I've cleaned it up as best i can but cant get into around each nipple without a wheel rebuild and is so would probably just have to fit a new rim. I've been told by a couple of people that you can run a tubeless tyre on a tubeless rim with a tube but without security bolts. Wanting to get into trials and purchased a used bike in my price range, looking for 2000-2010 roughly, between sherco, gas gas, beta and montesa(315r) which is the best bike to fit the criteria? Which of them had significant updates if any that separated them (new tech, new frame, etc) not looking for a p****** match between brands, just looking for good information about the realities of each brand and what they do better than the others, etc Thanks for the Help!

Hi what's a good starter bike for my daughter to have as her first trials bike. I ride GasGas 250 and Bultaco 250/350 which are a bit quick even with a slow throttle fitted so I'm thinking 125cc any good ones going at the moment cheap.

Does anyone please know if the numbers on both jets and slide fitted to Delorto and Mikuni mean the same and can be directly compared?

I assumed there would be a post about this but have not seen one. Is it a recommended watch for maybe a stocking filler for Christmas or are there better ones out there?

Wondering if anyone has managed to sneak a peak at any of the pros back protectors at events, etc. You can sometimes get a look at Bincaz's, because it pops out the bottom of his untucked shirt. It looks to me like he's wearing a road race type hard shell articulated protector. As for the rest of them, I haven't seen any specifics. I ask largely because, without naming names, I've been 100% disappointed in the trials manufactured back protectors that I've tried. I'm thinking about going to something I'm familiar with from the road race world, but I wouldn't mind knowing what some of the pros have landed on now that they're being mandated.

Evening all, Have a question on tyre sealing! Any hints or tips! The rear on my Gasgas was fine, until I rotated it! Now it looses pressure, within hours! I've filled with tyre sealant, but it doesn't seem to make any difference? Any pointers appreciated! Thanks,

So during this walkthrough of Kadlec's bike setup (turn on subtitles), at 1:15 in, where he talks about using a 'throttle ring'. As far as I'm aware, the only parts domino makes for trials that affect the throttle ramp up are either the slow (black) or fast (white) throttle tubes. Since the TRS comes with a fast throttle, clearly something else is at work here and I'm curious if anyone knows what it is. When you see him turn the throttle, it looks to me like it's wide open at about 1/8 turn, which is about a quarter turn sooner than the standard (fast) domino white throttle tube. Well iv just treated myself to the dvd and i wasnt impressed he does his stuff while some bloke is reading from a book it doesnt go into the timing of the manoeuvres i found it really poor thought he would have done a good dvd iv learnt miles more off youtube for free

Good morning all! I am new to trials riding and am in the market for a new bike and looking for input. While I am new to trials, I am not new to offload riding/racing. I have been racing hare scrambles and enduros here in the midwest for some time. While that is a great time, I am looking for a new challenge, a way to cross train and the ability to ride at home with something quiet. I am in the market for a new bike and am looking at Sherco/Scorpa, Beta and GG. I have found a deal on a new GG that is very intriguing but am skeptical to go the GG route as it sounds like parts are sometimes hard to come by. I have been restoring a Montesa Cota 348 Malcolm Rathmell Replica over the last few months, unfortunately although the tank/seat unit looked very good the dreaded Ethanol has attacked the inside even though it had been treated with a sealer ( make unknown). Great lumps of the stuff could be heard rattling around inside when the tank was shaken, after fishing as much out as possible ( depressing work) I realised that the only really effective repair would be either an alloy tank beneath a shelter or a complete alloy tank and seat unit both of which were turning out to be expensive options. Anyone know where I can get hold of some shims to take the handlebar clamp diameter down from 1/8 to 7/8 ? I’ve checked flea bay but can only find some that will be shipped from China so don’t fancy them ,any ideas ??

I'm not all OEM anymore. Aftermarket knee. Anybody continue to ride with a new knee? I know some sports are just a no-go.

I’ve decided that I really don’t enjoy competitive observed trials riding... but love riding my trials bike. This dawned on me as I rode between sections at a competition today... Other than observed trials competitions what riding could I do with my bike?
