Hi all... So , I have decide to buy a new bike ( new used bike ) , returning to trials after 20+ years .. I looked into this about a year ago, but life was put on hold due to ill relative, but am now ready .. Years ago, I had a sherco 290 , which was my first and only trials bike , I then used a club bike on a event day last year , and then recently I had a day out on a montesa 4 stroke and a TRS RR .. Last year I nearly bought a ossa as they looked good .. So, as it happens I decided against the ossa after reading they went bust , I have also ruled out Gas Gas ... ,I hadn't really heard much about TRS as they wasn't around when I was ridin…

Any cleaver person out there know if an NGK BPR5E is available in short reach ( ie12mm ) Thanks BPR5HS looks correct ?

I'm just starting out in this sport and doing alot of reading, It seems to me (correct me if i'm wrong) that alot of people are hung up on having the best bike or the best gear as though it is going to improve performance ? I'd like to bet if you put a Toni Bou or a Dougie Lampkin on an ancient machine in the cheapest gear you can get would still massacre most. Thoughts ?

Some of you guys could help me out a bit if you will. I have decided to convert my trail bike to a trials bike, so I ordered new fenders and am fabricating my own front fork mounting brackets. The bike originally came with a 2.75 x 21 Bridgestone tube type tire on it, but that one is long gone. What I need to know is what is the overall width of some of the2.75 x 21" trials tires out there now.? The tire on my front right now is a 3.00 x 21 knobby, so it is almost touching the inside of the new fender .I think the trials tire will be a bit narrower, but different brands are different sizes even though they all say 2.75" x 21" or what ever. Hi guys, I’m really new to the trials riding scene and looking for a bike, I’ve had loads of experience in motocross and sports bikes but I’ve always fancied the more technical side of things. I need your opinion? 2T 4T make and engine size?

I am determined to change the footpegs of my vertigo. my current footpegs are the S3 Hard Rock Steel. I have driven another bike from a friend with the S3 Hard Rock aluminum and I have felt much more comfortable, because they are bigger. The doubt comes, that when looking for new footrests, I see that there is another model called curve. Any experience with these footrests? the one who has tried both, which is his favorite? My level is medium low, although little by little I start using the rear wheel more to jump.

So I've got an odd clutch problem. The bite point basically moves around, typically in, up to a point. After the clutch is let back out, the engagement point will gradually migrate its way back to where it was originally, as evidenced by the free play in the lever. Another way of saying this: set free play to ~2mm, pull the clutch in a bit, let it out, free play is now 6mm. Leave it alone for ~10 seconds and the free play is now back where it was originally set. I've put a master cylinder rebuild kit in it once already, and the problem seemed to improve, but it's now back to being as bad it was originally. I've got a new master cylinder coming. Hi all iv removed battered rim tape from front wheel and it’s left heavy Amounts of adhesive on the rim, anybody had this and what have you used to remove it easily? Thanks

Anyone have any information on how to get a radiator repaired as I think I have a very small leak in mine or do we replace them !

Jitsie have done a short video with Doug and his four SSDT winning bikes, mud’n all. This got me thinking, what other winning bikes are still out there past or present? What’s the oldest, which bike has the most wins to it’s registration etc? Be it SSDT, nationals, internationals. How many are ridden and how many are in museums/private collections? Before anyone lists their modern bike’s club trial victories for the last 5 years...... don’t!

She wants to start, she rides my sherco 250 round the farm but needs to get the hang of gears and general bike riding she’s good on her mountain bike I was thinking of getting her a cheap motorcross bike or a pit bike so she can sit down and learn the basics, or do I go straight for a 125 trials bike? advice please

I have just bought a 2013 Beta 300 evo factory. that has had next to no use at all really does look almost as new (one owner) Anyway I am new to trials riding really had a sherco 290 about 2 years ago for local woods only used it around 15 times then sold it. I missed taking the thing out now and then so bought this Beta to get back into it. And yes i know it will most likely be to much bike for me and should have probably bought a 200 or 250 but us men know best bigger is better lol. HI,DOES ANYBODY KNOW OF A WAY TO SEAT A TUBELESS REAR TYRE,HAVE TRIED PUMPING UP WITH 150LTR COMPRESSOR AND NO LUCK THEN I TOOK IT TO KWIKFIT AND THEY FAILED TO DO IT.

Went out laning on my Trials bike the other day and had a great time... A few issues I came across: Ran out of fuel twice - carry more fuel. Wouldn’t have minded sitting down for a rest after 2 hours riding - but a long ride seat. Top end gearing was slow on the road sections - revert back to stock gearing. Other than that a cracking morning’s riding, and to be honest I enjoyed it more than previous enduro bikes I’ve owned (other than the above). Any other hints / tips for laning on a Trials bike? Might rejoin the TRF! Boner.

Guys I started naming my bikes my 2019 Scorpa 125 factory is Rose and my 2018 Beta 125 RR is Aurora and the are really quite nice to look at . But I do not know how to post pictures so hopefully you can put up the nicest looking bike you ever owned .
