That of all the brands, it seems like TRS riders are the most likely to go full "power ranger" with the TRS clothing? Do they come cheap with the bike or does the bike attract a certain type (like with BMWs). I'm a tart and I'd like a shiny new TRS RR but I don't think I could bring myself to wear the kit too... But then I'm a fat old man.. Thoughts? ?

I'm thinking about installing an hour meter on my Sherco ST 2015, can someone give me is experience? Guy

Hi guys, iv noticed when landing of anyone more than 4ft or so my bike seems to 'bottom out'. Is this down to suspension settings being wrong or my technique not being right?

I've just swapped around some tyres between bikes and now find that one rear X11 is loose on the rim and spins and pops the bead. The tyre was on an older style rim with rubber strip (GasGas '05), now it's on a Morad tubeless rim (Sherco '13). It popped the bead on very easily compared to all other X11's I've done, and now pops it off equally easily! I'll probably just put it back on the original rim which it worked on, but I'm wondering if there are any good tricks to get the bead to grip a bit better? I mounted it with soapy water as per my usual technique, but have now mounted it using WD40 having read that WD40 tends to make the rubber go a bit sticky. …

I know it's been ask about a hundred time, but the I don't have a lot of choice here. I recently bought a lightly use Sherco St 250 2015, I really like the feel of the clutch. Now I have to change the oil in the gear box, unfortunately, I don't know and can't find what is in the gearbox. I have avalable Motul Gear 300 SAE75W90 100% synt oil. Any comments on that? Guy

As above... how well do they hold up? Was a Pirelli MT43 if that helps... built like a run flat car tyre. Didn’t go too far or fast... was riding when it went down and noticed it before too long. 10-15mins and not hard pushed... trundling back to house through the street in 5th for 2-3mins probably the worst part. Turns out it was a dicky valve core... swapped out and all good. As bad as the Pirelli’s are on hard surfaces, they do ok in the loamy stuff at 4psi and would at least like to get my money’s worth out of them before skipping them. Thoughts? Old Michelin survived a similar issue... but did crack the rim so it all went in the bin and fitted new rubber…

Hi, I wondered if anyone knows how to search a specific forum using the search tool rather than the whole "community"? I am sure I used to be able to do this but haven't felt the need until today, when I realised I couldn't. I wanted to read about Beta pistons. Perhaps someone cleverer than I can help?!

DO YOU KNOW THE FRAME AND ENGINE NUMBER OF YOUR BIKE? I don't and never have known the numbers on any of my non road registered bikes. I was talking to a chap that had two motocross bikes stolen from his well guarded garage recently. I asked him about frame and engine numbers, but he had no idea. Therefore there was no way for any third party to EASILY identify them. This got me thinking. If it was a requirement for (modern) bikes to enter their frame and engine numbers on the entry form at ALL trials events and this was then checked (perhaps on a random basis) by the Scrutiniser, then this might help identify stolen bikes and deter bike theft. I have a 2003 Sherco 2 .9. I am changing tires on it and I am not able to get the bead to seat. It seats on both sides except for about 6 inches. Has anybody had trouble mounting the Dunlop 803GP tires. I am having the trouble with the rear the front mounted ok. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Hi, This will be my first bike which I will be buying from 'TOR MOTO'. Has anyone had any dealings with them before? They're located just outside of Halifax. I've got my eye on a Montesa 315R 250 or a Beta Rev 3 250. Both look in good nic. I'll only be taking it easy, clubman trials ect so I don't need anything special. I just want to have fun. What would sway your decision? Anything out of the ordinary I should look out for? What're your experiences with both? Thank you!

Have you noticed that more and more youngsters/school children are pulling wheelies on expensive bicycles and even younger children are bouncing about and spinning their scooters (push type) and jumping with both wheels clear of the ground. More impressive to me is the fact that nearly all of them are trying to keep the bike/scooter upright and using body lean to counter act the forces of gravity. Is this down to YouTube and face book or has a new subject been included in the curriculum. Generally popping wheelies riding in traffic is not to be condoned but some have a talent for ‘keeping the front up’ for a long time including cornering while wheelieing, which although …

The rear tire on one og my bikes is leaking out all og the air within a few hours. The tire size is 4.00 R18 so what do you think of putting a inner tube in the tire? I read that tube size 110/90-18, 110 /100-18 and 120/100-18 will fit the 4.00- R18 rear tire. Any knows if this is correct? Hi all, Just wondering how much of a difference there is between a slow and fast throttle tube? I have a Beta Rev 250 (2001) with the black(slow) tube and have been debating whether I should move up to the white one. Thanks!

recently set up a practice area in my back garden in an old horse arena,full of about a foot of sand that’s now overgrown with weeds and grass. Took me 3 days to clear it all out but it’s coming along now. I can get up the big tire 9 times out of 10 but I can’t do the row of tires as I don’t know how to hold pressure yet. Any improvements/ideas with the stuff I have will be appreciated thanks
