Hmmm, another issue :-( My cooling fan isn't working and it's causing the coolant to overheat. I've had a good practice in the woods this morning and It's steaming and spitting out coolant from the overflow. Does anyone have any tips for fault diagnosis by any chance? Thanks in Advance...

I was thinking that to start the new year off in style with the signing of Doug to Beta, should they release a Doug Special Edition early in 2008? Ok, we don't know for sure which bike he is riding in relation to 2t or 4T, but I reckon it would be a good marketing to release one asap. What do you think?

hi from aberdeen i am brand new to the forum right out the wraper first post . i just bought a 09 evo for a cheap price as it needed some cash spent on it , new plastics and decals and pads in the back and a right good clean . the bike is road registered i have the v5 and the bike is sorn at the moment . i never got any of the wiring with the bike and no handlebar switches either i have found a spare connecter under the seat and have wired the front light of of it . i need the rest of the parts so i can get the bike on the road as i would love to drive to parts in my city where i can ride . so i need back light bulb and holder and horn i found a horn and handlebar light a…

I've never had to remove the brake pedal on any of my Rev3s. Now I do and I'm struggling for some reason. I've removed the spring, plunger rod and pivot bolt. Now it's loose but won't come out, forwards or backwards. I thought it was snagging on the footpeg hanger so I removed that but it hasn't helped. Now it looks like I ought to be able to get it out if I remove the plastic chain guard on the swingarm but that means breaking the chain and/or removing the front sprocket and I'm pretty sure I shouldn't have to do that(?) What am I missing that's obvious? Feel free to use the words "dumbass" and "idjit" liberally in any reply. Many thanks!

I'm looking to purchase my first trials bike. My question is, and I have never rode a trials bike, would the 300SS be too much for me? I currently ride a KTM 300xc, no racing, never have, just enjoy riding. The KTM has treated me well, i'm more of a lugger than revver and I'm comfortable with the power. Along with that, I've enjoyed off road riding for about 20 years so I'm not too new to the sport. I don't have plans to compete, just playing around in the hills and valleys by me. To add into the mix, I weigh around 200 pounds geared up. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated and thank you.

Has any other Rev riders changed to the Hebo footpegs? I just switched out the stock pegs for new Hebos and they make a world of difference for me. The machine is easier to balance and I feel like I have more control / more places to stand. I thought about the CNC milled Scorpa pegs, but the Hebos are battle-tested and cheaper too.

After about 3 hours of riding in the hot weather yesterday I stalled my bike. I couldnt get it going again as it had flooded. I had just been up some quite steep climbs. Also I noticed the rad fan had kicked in. has anyone had this problem or has anyone got any ideas ? cheers leggins p.s I got the bike going after removing the plug and giving it some wellie.....

The bike I bought has now been thru 2 tubes....didn't know that trials bikes are supposed to come with a tubeless rear, derp. (the PO(or one of the 3 before me) sold me the bike with a tube installed....how should I know? There's a general consensus around these parts that the Beta 200 is the ideal bike for novices and other riders of limited ability. The trouble is, in the secondhand market, 200s are as rare as virgins in Essex. So I got to wondering what it would take to tame a 250 down to 200 level. You can get low compression heads at modest cost. How much difference do they really make? What about retarding the ignition? For sure it would reduce peak power to a manageable level, but would it then hurt the responsiveness or the ability to trickle around on next-to-no revs? Is it even possible with the CDI ignition?

Hello, Seeking help with this issue. My 2017 300 4T is running great. Except for one thing. On really high RPMs the engine misfire. Like an Enduro 4T. Really annoying when you need to have high RPMs on a big step with short run up. Is in any kind of "RPM stop" on them? I have changed, jets etc.. Thank full for all help!

Hey guys. I did it, I went over to the Four Stroke dark side. I played around with the carb and re-jetted, re-sprung the CV carb slide. The four stroke is messing with my timing & mind for sure. I am now back at square one learning all over again. Hi after cleaning out my carb several times I'm still getting the dreaded dribbling problems,I've checked the float height and from what I can tell it seems ok but a bit tricky to measure,also I may have inadvertently moved the air mixture screw how crucial is this and will it cause engine wear damage? Can you send the carb to lampkins for any kind of modifications?

Can anyone post a pic of what a flywheel holding tool looks like? I sheared my woodruff key yesterday causing my bike to missfire and kick back when trying to start it, this resulted in part of my engine casing breaking to bits (Doh). After having repaired the damage (

Hi I have had my 2010 250 2t for a few weeks now and still cant get it to run as crisp as my 09? The carb is set to the standard settings as recommend by beta, 4th needle notch and 1 1/4 turns on the air screw. It seems to be slow to pick up from tick over when the throttle is opened fully, just seems to lack response? Also when revved then the throttle closed it seems to take a while for the rpm to drop back to idle? Anyone found simular or got any ideas?

Delighted to be back on a Beta, worried about rear mudguard breakages , have 2 friends who quote easy to break and expensive to fix as sole reason for not buying Beta. Read and heard all about 2011 rear mudguards being (shall we say different quality) and am looking at the way the whole thing fits the bike (2012 EVO)...bear in mind my missus has one too so it would be quite possible for us to break 2 in the same day. Apart from the unneccesary cost of replacement it is the sort of thing than can spoil a holiday or a good weekend so I am now scratching my head for a way to make it a part which can snap off and be fixed back on(preferably in the field), for those of you wh…
