Hello everyone Just bought a alloy tank for my Bultaco. I was just wondering what are the best type of decals to get? Waterslide (SM Products) or printed vinyl (Inmotion)? Or any other types you may recommend. Cheers in advance, Kelvin

Hi took the bulk of the paint of forks someone painted over the black with a thick dark blue paint now down to metal with black streaks and a bit left of blue to rub of by hand.Is there a hard wearing black spray or paint i could buy cheap to put back to near original black.Went to halfords and staff member pointed out black hammer spray but it was around 10 quid.I have 5 small tins of metal normal and 5 hammer paint paid 10p a tin in sale a year ago but all silver pity cannot use them as have 3 sets of forks to paint. Also started sanding one of the 198 frames and original colour is white under the blue.So need to buy white spray or paint is there a name for the white so…

I have a set of shocks from a 1971 Alpina. They are red with chrome springs but I do not see any markings on them so am not sure they are Betors. (I could post a picture.) Are these rebuildable? Can I get a manual or procedure somewhere? I saw seals for sale on a web site but that is it. Thanks, Dan

Just bought this fixer and not sure about the year and some details if someone out there could help and recommend upgrades. Noticed brake is on left side and thought they were imported with it on the right after 85? also not sure what those shocks are from. have some rust on the upper fork tubes can that be fixed? Many thanks in advance.

I have two other bikes with Bing carburettors that perform perfectly. my 350 Alpina (1977) however has always been a trifle fluffy on low throttle openings. I have just fitted new needle and jet as part of a service and the needle clip was in the lowest groove, what is the recommend position or is it just suck it and see. Thanks.

I have been doing some jobs on a friends 199a and have taken the Bing carb off to clean it out.Blew it out with an airline and put it back on the bike. Now the bike runs very poorly as if it is getting too much fuel and flooding, though there is no petrol coming out anywhere. The bike runs as if the choke is on and when you put the choke on it is worse.I have messed about with the float height but seems to make no difference.I know the bike runs fine otherwise as I have put the Amal carb from my own 190 onto it and it runs fine with it on.I have had the Bing on and off numerous times, checked the choke is not stuck on,blown jets out etc but to no avail. The bike was running …

Hello All, I rode my 350 sherpa last weekend and if started to p*** fuel out of the overflow on the carb. It didn't matter if it was running or not. I took the float bowl off and everything seem ok. It's never done this before and I would like to keep my Bing.
