Just taken delivery of a new 250. Vertigo have got rid of the 9V battery. Bike was built Jan 2017. Apologies to existing owners, I forgot to ask if they can eliminate this on earlier bikes. Very pleased so far!

Has anyone tried , or even better own a new 200??? I am thinking of a new bike , and I must admit a 200 seems like a good idea ....

  4. I have a 2022 Vertigo Nitro Jaime Busto Replica 300 that runs very rough past 1/4 throttle. First 1/4 is pretty good, idle is fine. Did it pretty much from new, bike now has 30 hours on it, and it seems to be getting worse. Past 1/4 throttle it runs very rough, repeated surging and near stalling, but only under light load. Hard acceleration is good, steep uphill is good, 5th gear on flats or slightly downhill is terrible, to the point where it nearly stalls. There's also a spot about 5000 RPM where it just doesn't run cleanly at all, lots of smoke and very rough. This bike has the lithium battery with a different wiring harness from earlier models and a 6 p…

Do these bike run quieter, i.e. with less 'popping', if run on richer or leaner maps? Or does the bike always sound the same at or near idle? I ride around my property sometimes and a quiet bike is preferred:

Hi everyone, just took my recently acquired 2016 ice hell out for a ride the other day. it was running fine for about 3 hours and then about an hour after i refuelled it, it sounded like it was running out of fuel and then died. after about 4/5 kicks it would start again and then run for 5 minutes until it would do the same thing anyone have any idea what it could be? I've heard possible fuel regulator? but not too sure cheers Andy

  9. My local Vertigo dealer has a 2019 Vertigo DL12 Dougie Replica 300cc for sale. Half year old, very little time on it. So basically it is like new. Is it that much better than a standard Vertigo or just a marketing thing (limited edition - 50 made worldwide / other color decals / titanium silencer)? I currently ride a 2017 Montesa 300RR, i might consider the Vertigo. Any help is appreciated. Greetz Erik

Hi All! The Vandal LR looks great. Has the same engine as the Combat, in a different chassis and has an electric start and a 3.4 liter fuel tank. I think this is a perfect trials bike for trial excursion.

I know the early Vertigos had mapping issues which were sorted pretty quickly so if buying a second hand 17 ice hell, can I be sure the mapping is sorted? Cheers!

  14. Hi Guys, Just wondering what the consensus is on long term ownership of a Vertigo now that quite a few have been running them for a while? Is it possible that they will run reliably over a sustained period without the need for complex equipment / knowledge to ensure they do? I'm thinking about the average joe with no specific expertise in EFI that would use the bike regularly. I've read on the Ossa forum of people feeling the need to recalibrate components like the TPS etc every so many hours on a laptop with a diagnostic cable and also that Montesa owners have access to similar hardware but there is nothing out there to the best of my knowledge for Verti…

I’ve got a small oil leak coming from the seal around the gear shaft, it’s on the vertigo parts list as a lip seal is this just a standard oil seal ?

Anyone else getting a lot of what seems like oil around the shifter? It almost looks like the countershaft seal is leaking, but I haven't confirmed the source yet. Another vertigo here shows the same thing.
