    Bits to carry

That's the Scott trial not the SSDT.
  4. Like @chappo says the nose weight is an issue. Even modern trials bikes are too heavy for a lot of cars
  5. Trials and tribulations have one in stock it looks like. £70.56 full kit for whole engine
  6. Jitsie do a replacement screw with more meat on the top of the bolt so should be stronger.
  7. You can remove the headlight and then remove the box off the headlight and mount it to a front number board with bolts. This is the way Beta UK tell you to do it for the SSDT. Unplug the lights but don't remove the wiring. Dead easy. The connector to the headlight is the one at the bottom. Map switch at the top. Kill switch on the far right. Main harness connector on the left and right. This is the rear view. When fitted all this faces the headstock.
  8. https://betausa.com/content/SUPPORT_PDF's/1998%20Techno%20250%202%20stroke.pdf That is a parts manual for the bike
  9. For spokes give Sids Wheels a call. He recently did the spokes for my M91 rear wheel which is spot on.
  10. None of my M85 have these lugs and neither have my M80 or M91 frames. First time I've seen them.

    After Market Spares

Have you tried swapping the tyre around and seeing if it will seat the other way around? Could be a bad bead on the tyre too. Take the tyre off, clean the rim well and try bead sealer (eBay probably the only place to get it at the moment...It is a thick sealant (brush applied from the tin to the beads) that should make it stop leaking as will take up any inconsistencies in the rim.
  12. ACU Trial and Enduro Department has just posted this on Facebook. No events until at least June at the moment. Covid-19 Update In light of recent developments in the COVID-19 crisis, and following the address to the nation by the Prime Minister on the evening of 23rd March, the Auto-Cycle Union has today extended its suspension of all organising permits for motorcycle events until at least 31st May but will be constantly reviewed. This move provides clear guidance to event organisers, clubs, venues, competitors, officials of the role that the Auto-Cycle Union must play in supporting the broader UK public health agenda. Auto-Cycle Union Chairman, Roy Humphrey explained, “The government have required that we effectively lock-down for a period of three weeks, however given that the most vulnerable in our society are required to isolate for three months, we feel it only sensible to propose a longer suspension for all motorcycle sport. This is a time of national unity and we need to come together with the broader public community to do all we can to support this battle and ultimately save lives. This evening, Health Secretary, Matt Hancock said the Government is launching a new scheme to recruit 250,000 volunteers to support the NHS through the coronavirus pandemic. A quarter of a million volunteers, people in good health to help the NHS, for shopping, for the delivery of medicines and to support those who are shielding to protect their own health. We may not be involved in any sporting activities, but, we could help support the NHS through this pandemic!" Auto-Cycle Union will continue to monitor the prevailing advice from the UK Government in respect of the COVID-19 international pandemic and will update the motorcycle community accordingly.
  13. Had a Google earlier, French seller makes them https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/302242862902
  14. Front wheel spindle Front wheel (Pinky) Front brake (Pinky) Forks and yokes sort of interchangeable but need to change the stem to a TY Mono one as the forks are larger diameter Air Filter Probably some other odds and ends too. Mudguard and mudguard brace are different on the TYZ as the forks are different.
  15. I think Cambs Trials had some at one point. Give them a try
  16. I would have thought no matter what engine you have in the bike the hopping and flicking etc would depend on the rider and chassis more than the engine. Perhaps something lighter than a 4RT, for example weighs around 7KG more than a Beta Evo 300
  17. If you stall one click of the button and you are running again and without a 5 (as long as you keep feet up / not lean on a tree etc.)
  18. Coming in March, Electric start RR and R models. 250/280/300cc These also retain the kickstart. This doesn’t replace the non electric start versions. It’s an extra model
  19. 2017 300 SS had New silencer New combustion chamber Flywheel with increased inertia Primary drive with additional inertia Long-stroke throttle As well as the usual Chassis tweaks and new sticker kits.
  20. The brochures always show the Spanish market models which would have the fibreglass slimline style tank and seat unit was first introduced on the M80 (well technically the Kit Campeon made available from the M49).
  21. Good advice from @feetupfun as basically all Bultaco parts are interchangeable it is likely that this has happened!. Frame number should be stamped on the headstock on the right hand (throttle side) of the bike. Frame should be stamped PB-150xxxxx (where xxxxx is the series number). P signifies 250 and B is Bastidor which is frame in Spanish. Engine number should be stamped on the right hand crankcase (clutch side). Engine should be stamped PM-150xxxxx (where xxxxx is the series number). P signifies 250 and M is Motor.
  22. The correct one for the UK model is as bullylover says and its a Homerlite seat and tank unit with a monza style filler cap. To see what it should look like, look at the Haynes manual front cover. Front Cover The manual uses a model 151 which is the 350cc version of yours, the only difference being the engine. There are also some good side shots etc in the manual.
  23. Same as a 290 Sherco was 272cc. Never understood why they didnt just call them a 270cc, I assume it is the mines bigger than yours thing.
  24. I would want to run it back to the dealer and if possible hear another one running to re-assure myself especially after spending 6 grand.
  25. Where are you getting the plugs from? There are apparently a lot of fakes being sold on auction sites etc. http://www.ngk-sparkplugs.jp/english/techinfo/fake/index.html
