I personally don`t care what helmet anyone wears. But a helmet should not give you more confidence to ride bigger obstacles. Your ability should be what gives you the desire and will to ride untried obstacles. Then again I started riding trials before helmets were required.

The MT43 came stock on all Aprilia Climber`s sold. The front was the best as it had a wider foot print. I have not ridden on a current one. Kind of wonder if something has changed as they are sold as street legal. Might be worth trying on my 348.

Plates are just stuck. Ride it around with the clutch pulled in, try a few small wheelies, hit the bakes, it will come loose. No parts needed.

Parts for the old junkers are becoming obsolete. Case in point, 2009 and older skid plates are no longer available.

Trials is a body position required sport. If your body does not participate, the bike will not respond. Small seat, low bars and squatting is the normal stance. It used to be a normal human position till the modern toilet was invented. PS, years ago I injured my neck hopping on the rear tire of a Monty. Wearing a helmet sucked for several years. Good luck. In turns it is always better to over exaggerate every move than not enough. Good luck with creating correct muscle memory.

They have a guy with a computer that follows them around like stuck on glue. Fuji seems to get the most attention, depending on the day.

Throw that crap away, bend your knees and elbows. That`s like reinventing the wheel with bumps every 1/4 turn.

The side stand is plenty strong to hold up the bike. So just buy a new one or do without. You either leaned your body weight on it or it sunk in the muck and snapped. I watched my boy do the same several months ago.

I believe there was a slot in the original chain guard that it slid through instead of more bolts.

Proper body English is the most important part of turns. It does not matter what bike, it is the same regardless.

It is not going to matter much which throttle tube you use, the engine response is slow.

Actually if you could have someone film you doing turns, it might just reveal what you are doing wrong.

Well on the plus side, that is the correct side to dab. Usually it`s all mental, you are giving up before the turn. Safety dab every time. Good luck on that.

How do I know, bought one for my wife and it broke. So I bought two springs and two gasket sets. I still have not seen another one break. That was 15+ years now. I still have that spare!

Wasting time pulling springs, they WILL slip if you actually ride it. We have 3 2016`s std`s and the clutch pull is fine. The trick is for better leverage and/or small hands is to slowly trim the push pin until you get it where it is right for you. Very simple to do, and costs nothing, unless you need a new pin. All three riders have done this mod. Personally I prefer it almost stock, but just throwing this out there as it does work.

If everything else looks good, I would go ahead and pull it. It really does not take much to cause a lot of grief. You usually will know on how easy it comes out.
