Vertigo

I want to exchange the stock spring of the rear shock against a stiffer one. After looking into the spare parts book and reviewing the assembly directly at the bike, the plan would be: - Loosen both screws DIN 912 M10x80 holding the dog bones - Remove the rear screw of them completely and swivel the dog bones in order to be able to loose and remove the screw DIN 7984 M10x40 that fixes the lower end of the rear shock - Remove the upper screw and the rear shock Does this make sense or do other parts need to be disassembled first in the area of the lower end of the rear shock? Fan was on constantly on last ride out.Coolant checked.Attached my GET WiFi reader and it showed nothing.Except fan control was blocked out?Temperature sensor read open circuit for resistance between ground and terminal with wire disconnected?Seemed to be cutting in and out tonight when testing?Anyone seen this before of any ideas?

Hi. I'm a user living in South Korea. The RPM suddenly became unstable. I changed the 9v battery to a new one, but it just says that the battery is weak and it doesn't start. If I connect the external power, the engine will start. The RFM is unstable. If you turn off the external power, the engine will turn off. It's because of the negative electrode. Is it because of this? I don't remember where the cathode paper was. I'd like to know where to connect.

Got a 2021 Combat works 250, and its really hard to start from cold. Once its hot, not problem, 1 or 2 kicks every time. I've read that i should be doing 3/4 slow kicks, then quarter throttle and kick it properley. I'm usually into about 20 kicks before it comes alive? It's got a brand new BPMR4A plug in (previously a 6 but same symptoms). Fuel is super unleaded with 30ml (170:1) of rock oil. Any ideas?

I need to use a 9v rechargeable battery Can I charge my battery while starting up? And 9v rechargeable battery capacity How much should I use? at Least 200mah? 250mah? Can I use 1000mah? (16 Vertigo Combat 300 )

Anyone else getting a lot of what seems like oil around the shifter? It almost looks like the countershaft seal is leaking, but I haven't confirmed the source yet. Another vertigo here shows the same thing.

Well done Vertigo, lovely looking bike to get the kids excited, only comments would be, how about some protection on that exhaust pipe ? Little people falling off in the mud and they don't have the self preservation instincts ( or burn experiance ) of adults to know not to touch it. Will it be entry level pricing or is it a rich mans toy.

I'm new here and have just bought a used 2019 Vertigo Combat Vertical 250cc. I'm about to change the oil in both front forks, but I'm a bit unsure about the correct oil level. In the service manual for the bike, it says the oil level should be 130 mm in both forks. However, in the service manual for the forks — which are Tech Suspension — it states that the level should be 130 mm in the left fork and 75 mm in the right. Which one should I trust?

Just taken delivery of a new 250. Vertigo have got rid of the 9V battery. Bike was built Jan 2017. Apologies to existing owners, I forgot to ask if they can eliminate this on earlier bikes. Very pleased so far!

Are the regina chains on vertigo prone to rust??

Hi all, I just bought a 2020 Vertical 200. It was advertised as a 200 and it has a 200 sticker on the rear fender. Interestingly, the original Titile of origin says it is a 125 and the motor is stamped with a 125 code. Does any know if there is any way to verify this bike is actually 200cc ?

Is this kickstart shaft the same as V-0231 – KICKSTART SHAFT? I'm having trouble getting the parts to fit together properly. My bike is a 2019 Vertigo Vertical Combat 250cc, and I'm using the original Vertigo kickstart lever. However, I can't seem to get it to fit correctly onto the shaft. I was expecting there to be a groove or slot in the shaft for the cross bolt on the lever to lock into, but it doesn't seem to be there.

Hi everyone, I've pulled the gear cassette to replace the kick start gears. That's all sorted but I noticed the shift sensor magnet is free to spin on the shift drum. Surely this can't be right? Any help is greatly appreciated. If anyone has a workshop manual it would be ver helpful!

Do these bike run quieter, i.e. with less 'popping', if run on richer or leaner maps? Or does the bike always sound the same at or near idle? I ride around my property sometimes and a quiet bike is preferred:
