Hi all , I have finally invested in Bosi/arrow exhaust for my Beta 4t Evo 300 2012 and have question about jetting. Could I use it without changing any jets or settings on carburretor ? and to get best performance, what jets and settings would I need to change. Can anyone with experience chime in. Thanks!

Hi folks, I'm sick of having to stall my '97 Techno to shut it up. I'm wanting to fit a lanyard switch so I don't have to do this and to cut the ignition when I have one of my "close encouters with the earth". I don't want to go butchering the wiring willy-nilly so, which wires/wire do I have to cut into? Cheers.

Right........... friend of mine, a good inter rider, recently got a '06 250 after a year on a '05 270. The theory was he didn't want the all out grunt of the 270 so opted for the 250. However it's a terribly buzzy engine, seems to have a powerband just over 1/3 throttle, you know, just where you don't it when in a river or on anything remotely slippery...... He hasn't done a thing yet, is going to try a slow-action throttle this week. Has anyone else found this problem with this bike?? I rode it yesterday for 15 minutes and I was bo****ed after riding it. First gear keeps you in around that powerband, then second gear is just too quick in the tight stuff, so we're looki…

HI all - I just picked up another trials bike - the '95 Beta Techno - I had it shipped from 2,000 ft above sea level to roughly 7,000 ft above sea level. I've been digging around and can't seem to find any manuals online to list what the stock jetting was on this bike? Does anybody know what the stock jetting was, needle position, main, pilot, etc.? Thanks much for any help!

I'm surprised the Beta forum is the most popular among brands and still i couldn't find a single message about the zero, or maybe since I am new I did not use the search option correctly. I've only had a problem with a slipping clutch needing replacement, the front disk being a bit loose and not knowing how to set up the rear boge shock as it is acting like an enduro shock absorbing all action and slowing it down too much. otherwise I love my bike, even though out of date, heavy and harsh by modern standards. Hello, I dont know if this is a common problem or just restricted to my bike. I have a Beta rev 3 290 2005, had it for about six months now. Today i was doing a trial and noticed a lot of steam coming off the exhaust pipe. I thought this was just mud as it was very muddy and boggy. It was only on the second lap someone pointed out water was dripping from the radiator. Luckily it was on the last section before a break. Anyway, upon inspection i found the radiator cover had been rubbing, only slightly, but over a period of time, and it had worn away the bottom part of the radiator and the top. Just below the last set of "fins" and just above the first set of "fins" (De…

I put a Keihin on a 2008 200 Rev 3 and have just bought the idle mixture screw with flex attachment on the end from Splat Shop. Does something locate the knob that you turn with your fingers? It seems like there should be some kind of bracket.

I have a '15 Evo 4t. I would like to play around with the shock settings but where the adjuster is installed it can't easily be reached. If the shock was spun around so the adjuster pointed to the back of the bike you could adjust it easily with the seat off. Anyone do this or know why it might cause problems?

I have the chance to buy one of these local to me that seems to be in excellent shape. It comes with new tires (just installed) and a brand new rear fender (not installed). It also has had an updated engine case installed due to the known corrosion issues from coolant. I know there could be some part availability issues, but is there anything else I should know before going to look at it? He is asking $3100usd but told me to make an offer. This is the bike:

  19. Hi, My Evo just seems to be a bit sluggish at times in terms of throttle response. On some occasions when I want to blip the throttle to hop up over a log or double blip over an obstacle it just doesn't respond quite as I'd like it to. I'm going to strip the carb down to give it a clean and while I'm there I'll check the reed valves. Has anyone got any suggestions for what it might be other than this? I can't seem to find any info for stock/standard carb settings for it, I'll check the jet types whilst I clean the carb but without stock info I don't' know if they're the right jets or not! If anyone could let me know what standard jetting settings should be that would…
